Crowne Plaza MILWAUKEE AIRPORT

Really nice place, excellent location for Airport access.

I would suggest this hotel to anyone staying in the area. You will love it if you like a firm mattress. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The restaurant Altitude was a main reason that I will be back to this hotel as much as the hotel itself. Clean rooms, everything is new and in great condition. Room was also very quiet, a big plus over similar hotels. If you stay here, you have to try the restaurant!

My boyfriend and I spent two nights at the Crowne Plaza. We initially selected this hotel because of the great price and the modern decor. The hotel was very easy to find right off of the highway and check-in was quick and easy. The room itself was very nice - the King bed was comfortable, the flatscreen TV was a bonus and the furniture and wall colors were modern. On the negative side, the towels were very scratchy and the doors to the rooms slam shut unless you slowly close it yourself. If someone is staying in the room next to you prepare to be startled every time they enter or leave their room. Housekeeping did not replace our dirty glasses and when they made the bed they left pillows on the floor. The hotel "bar" left a lot to be desired as it was awkwardly at the hotel entrance with no privacy and little seating. When we stopped down to get a drink, we waited 5-10 minutes for a bartender to show up. Eventually we gave up even though there were other guests down there drinking. The biggest negative was a complete lack of soundproofing which undoubtedly depends on who is in the rooms around you. For example, I was awoken at 7 am by what sounded like someone knocking on our door; instead it was a lady in the room above us wearing heels in her bathroom. That same night I could hear the people talking in the room next to us. We had to sleep with the TV on to drown out the sounds of doors slamming, people talking and random banging on our room walls by our neighbors. The airport/planes were not an issue. I would say this hotel is better than most in the same price range but quiet and relaxing it is not.

Only stayed one night. The location was great, right off of the highway and the hotel seemed very new. The only bad comment I have is that I left my hair straightener in the bathroom and called a day later when I realized I had left it, and no one turned it in!

Getting up at 4.00am is not pleasant after being out of town for over a week. If the young lady at the front desk cannot stay awake long enough to be polite enough to be of assistance with the shuttle to the airport she is either on the wrong shift or is being asked to do more than she is capable.

Very attentive front desk staff that provided a very easy check-in. They were very knowledgeable about the area and made us feel welcome.

Nice and quiet with no children running up and down the halls at night. Close to the airport for the early departure.

Check in was easy, the decor of lobby and our room was up scale. The king size bed was luxurious, flat screen TV, nice comfy chair. Bathroom was nice a bit small but fine for two people. Restaurant had awesome decor, and okay breakfast, the bartender was helpful in recommending different things. The location is great, near the interstate so only a quick 10 min drive to downtown, the lake or miller park. The airport in an exit away. I was worried about noise but i only heard 1 plane and i was awake and near the window. We were on floor 4 of 5. I can see why this hotel could charge twice what i paid thru [...] I got a GREAT DEAL and a memories that will last forever.

ENJOYABLE

went there because i had an early flight. Had an enjoyable dinner, then a drink at the bar. Only bothersome factor was they had a boxing even. Very loud in public areas and many rude people.
