Hip comfort in a hot downtown location
Aloft Milwaukee Downtown bills itself "a vision of W Hotels," and the property backs up that connection with a hip, fun, lodging experience in an upcoming area. The public areas are outstanding. The rooms are great, the only negative is the absence of a cafe or restaurant.. Their snack machines sren't enough. Their bar was well appointed and comfortable, but it can't replace my morning coffee or breakfast.

Great price Great Hotel
I had a great experience at Aloft. The hotel was very modern and fun. They had salsa dancing and tacos in the lobby. The pool was pretty small, and I wished they had a jacuzzi, but other than that, great times!

Very friendly staff greeted us on arrival in town for awedding. Nice clean room, but the hotel does cater to a younger crowd which means occasionally noisy hallways. Very nice bar/sitting area in lobby. Very convenient to events at the Bradley Center.

Hotel by Ikea - Cheap, noisy
Very disappointed by Aloft. New building, but very cheaply built. We could hear noise outside, from the rooms next to us, above us, below us and from the hall. Barely slept. Even worse, they rented out the already small lobby for a party, so we had to elbow past people just to get to the elevators. We paid for that lobby too. Expected more from Starwood. Only bright spots were friendly, helpful staff and great location.

Good Leisure Trip
Our purpose was for leisure. A few bad things that I didn't like was upon inspection of our room, the tiolet seat had dirty splash marks all over tiolet seat. The hand & face towels were stained. I informed the front desk & they sent someone up right away. The room doors are pretty thin. You can hear the hallway noise, people coming & going from their rooms, peoples talking, doors slamming. Other than that everything else was good, hotel staff from valet, to front desk to the bar tender. In excellent location, easy in & out. Valet parking is safe & is located across the street in view.

Friendly staff...
The staff is exceptional. Friendly & accommodating. The room was nice & modern. However, the pocket bathroom door has a gap, which doesn't allow for much privacy. That was a bit embarrassing when staff needed to get in to check our television & I was in the shower.

Beautiful location, close to everything! Water St. Is so close and plenty of dining options. The staff was always courteous, will stay again!
