Residence Inn by Marriott Madison West/Middleton

I stayed the one night and the staff was very friendly and courteous.

This was our second stay at Residence Inn in Middleton, and it was just as great as the first. Staff were friendly, the continental breakfast offered variety and was just as good as going out to eat. There were high school soccer teams staying at the same time mainly on the first two levels, so they were kind enough to place us on the 3rd, and we never heard a thing. Greenway Station shops are a VERY short walk away and the mall is a short drive. The company is also green-conscious, which is an added perk. This will definitely be a go-to hotel in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable. We loved having a sitting area with a couch, chair, desk, coffee table, and TV. It's nice to have a comfortable place to relax and watch TV instead of having to sit on the bed to do so. The bedroom was nice and dark and quiet. The mattress was a foam "tempurpedic" matress and my husband and I found it uncomfortable since we are used to a firm mattress. This is just a personal preference, and others may like that type of mattress. The breakfast was included in the price of the room and was great, with many hot and cold options. The breakfast included: cereal, yogurt, english muffins, bagels, pastries, fruit, eggs, sausage, hasbrown potatoes, sausage gravy and biscuits, oatmeal, and waffles. The hotel was very full, but the staff did a good job of making sure the breakfast items were well stocked. We enjoyed walking to Greenway Station and visiting the shops and restaurants. We drove to New Glarus and had a wonderful day there. One drawback was that this was a very busy weekend as it was the state high school basketball championships in Madison, as well as some type of dance competition. There were kids running up and down the hallway until 11 pm on one night. Also, we were not able to use the pool or jacuzzi because they were always crowded with large groups of kids. This is not the fault of the hotel; we would just choose a different weekend if we come back next year. Our room looked over the basketball court and we thought we would hear the noise from the group of guys that played there all day, but with the windows shut, there was minimal noise. This was our second stay at this hotel, and we would highly recommend it and would stay here again.

We must have hit it on a bad Saturday. There was an American Girl Convention and all the rooms were full, so we couldn't get a late check out. That wasn't a big deal, but the free breakfast that was included was TERRIBLE. They ran out of everything by the time we got down there. The staff couldn't keep up with the crowd. Not enough plates and bowls, ran out of eggs, coffee and the place was a mess. Pool was small and whirlpool wasn't working. Our room was nice and clean though.

I am very picky about my hotels! We picked this one based on location and the reviews posted on line. It was very clean, professional, great hot continental breakfast, large rooms and super location. The staff was outstanding. The fitness room was very small but being we were the only two in there it was ok. Eat at the restaurants around the hotel. We ate at one a few miles away and wish we had not. Everything in the area is fairly new. Enjoy the patio on site and bring your own food to barbaque....FUN!!!

Great walking paths near hotel.

We were in town for the Individual State Wrestling Tournement. While this hotel is fairly far from the Kohl center it is very easy to drive to and well worth the travel. We got a good price for a great room and a wonderful breakfast. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed an awesome weekend of wrestling and a restful time away.

Friendly staff, cozy beds and pillows. Not the usual uncomfortable bed and hard pillows.Great location with many restaurant choices with in minutes. The room was very clean and maintained.I would be happy to come back. Great place and reasonable price.

The location was perfect. Great restaurants near hotel. The rooms were very clean. The staff was so friendly. The breakfast was generous and tasty.

We loved the hotel. It's the best one we've been to so far and a lot cheaper than others in the area. We were extremly pleased. It was right next to a shopping center and several restraunts. It was clean and cozy. The staff was super nice including the breakfast staff who put syrup on our table for us. The hot buffet breakfast was awesome and complimentary. Seriously this was the best most relaxing weekend we've ever had when traveling.
