Madison Marriott West

the location and amenities were fine the rooms need updating in the worst way. The furniture is outdated as is the wallpaper and carpet. I had a friend who travels all over the world stop by and could not believe how outdated the furnishings are. The bathroom was acceptable though.

Great value! In town over homecoming weekend. We were happy to get such a nice hotel at a decent price. The shuttle driver actually dropped us off in front of our son's apartment complex - now that's great service!

What once used to be a great place to stay has become no more than a place to sleep when in the Madison area. It's nice that it has dining within the motel, but the cost makes it prohibitive to eat there. I was about to gag when I used the one cup coffee maker (that's really cheap on the motel's part) and found that it was full of water from the room's last motel guest. This visit convinced me that maybe I should stay at another motel nearby.

Not a bad place but this place costs more than the courtyard down the room and the rooms aren't nearly as nice as the Middleton Courtyard. Courtyard you get free wireless and here they charge $12.00. In my opinion this property should charge less than the courtyard and the courtyard should charge more than this property. Also the T.V. was old and the remote was old and antiquated compared to most properties today, especially one that is charging close to $200 a night and at the high end in Madison, WI

i was very happy with our one nite stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff, great location. Many restaurants and shops close by. The only negative thing we found was that our friends who booked a room by calling the hotel directly received a $100 promotional voucher for their next stay when they checked out. We were told we did not qualify since we booked our room online thru [...] That was a bummer.

Average Hotel at best, and not up to Marriott standards. Look and feels like a dead refurbished hotel. Location was good.

Located in a convenient neighborhood, the rooms were clean, the lobby attractive, and the front desk service was truly outstanding. Would definitely stay there again when in the Madison Area.

very well kept up close to everything - good value

This Marriott is not up to Marriott standards. It is the tackiest Marriott I have ever seen. The center is totally open and goes upward for many floors adorned with artificial hanging plants. They are tucked into every nook and cranny of the hotel including by the elevators. There are only two elevators and the wait going up or down can be long. There is not a small shop to buy even a cup of coffee. An employee told me, We used to have a Starbuck's. It's good I was very busy with family matters so I did not have to spend alot of time there. The pool and spa areas were very well maintained and the staff was very friendly.
