Not a great experience
The hotel was rundown. The water temperature in shower fluctuated from cold to lukewarm, but was never hot. There were no towels at the pool which was also very rundown. On the good side, the staff was friendly and polite. The hotel was very quiet, even though there was a girls sports tournament in town and most of the residents were kids.

Felt like punishment....
I stayed in Menomonie because both my sons are attending college there so I went to visit them and watch my son in his golf tournament. The location was simple to find and had an abudance of restaurants and shopping close at hand...which is a plus. The room was a "downer". No decor to speak of...bent lampshade..flat pillows...and the sink was dirty. I asked for a smoking room...and I think they gave me the worse room possible. As if it were punishment. Vending machine candy was old and discolored. I did complain about this and the front desk personell did go out of their way to purchase the candy I wanted from a store across the street.

Short walk from hotel
There is a new restaurant right next to this Motel. It had fabulous food and great service. It's called SPARX. Ribs & burgers done just right!! Lots of TVs.

Is a good hotel to stay at for a great price. Pool is on the small side but temperature was warm- not freezing!!!
