Good location, great price, very clean
Family Weekend trip.This motel was very clean, the staff does a great job cleaning.The bed was very nice.The pool was a big hit for the kids and the location was great.

Clean and great value
I was in Madison to visit my daughter who is a graduate student and this location was convenient and the price was great. The best value I have seen in motels.

Excellent stay!
We enjoyed our stay and found the room to be very nice. The desk clerk switched us to a different room promptly, when we shared that our TV was not working. She tried to repair it but was unable to get it working again. We appreciated her kindness. The hotel was just what we had hoped for.

Met my needs
Location was acceptable. My room overlooked a site of noisy shipping activity taking place early each morning. Breakfast lacked protein - I went to Perkins Restaurant, next door, for $9.50, instead. Housekeeping staff responded to my specific requests - and to my offer of a decent tip if they did so! Front desk tried to tie my nights into my frequent traveler account, albeit unsuccessfully. All in all, an OK choice.

Review of Madison South Super 8 Motel
The room was very clean and the air conditioning was working wonderfully! The staff was helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good, however, I wished there had been more fruit available, other than just apples. My only complaint (and a VERY minor one)about the room is that there were only two small soaps available. We were a party of two, and the soap was skimpy. Otherwise, it was great, and I would definitely stay again.

Culver's Restaurant is open until midnight, which is helpful if you are arriving late. It is on the service drive, just a few doors down on the right side.

A Great Super 8
We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday this year while visiting family and were very impressed with the property overall. The best part of our 3 night stay was the fact that the pool, hot tub and exercise facility were accessible 24 hours a day. The lobby was very nice with coffee available and a large flat panel TV. The staff was friendly and the beds were very comfortable. Shopping and restaurants are nearby. The rooms were inexpensive but our overall impression from our stay says we'll be staying here again. It's a great value for your dollar.

Don't be afraid to try the many small coffee shops and restaurants in the area. We stopped at an indonesian restaurant and a chocolatier. We had a wonderful experience at both.

For the price, it was better than I expected. Easy access to downtown, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, nice pool area. The only problem was that the internet access was down.
