Yes the hotel was fine.
We shopped, attended girls fast pitch softball game at State. After booking with [...]we found another site would have been $10.00 less.

Great value
The rooms at this hotel are cozy but have everything they need. It was quiet and comfortable. I'd certainly stay there again.

This is a "tired" property, needs updating and stronger staff - Our room was not clean and had a sink that was completely clogged - Staff not attentive to guests

Good deal
We've stayed at this motel several times over the past five years while our granddaughter attended the university here. We found it to be a good choice. It is located across the street from a major mall and has a nearby theater. Excellent restaurants nearby also. The motel has amenities like a work-out room (not extensive, but adequate), free newspapers, wi-fi,. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Rooms are generally well kept and clean, but my wife can always find something that could be cleaner.

Economical and pleasant
It was a good value. Convenient at about 5 miles from the Capitol straight out Washington Ave E. We were comfortable. Their was a mix up on whether we have pets and so we ended up in a pet room (one reserved for people with pets although we didn't have one). No big deal for us but can't figure out were the mix up occurred. We had one night [...] and added another night by calling the Hotel directly. They were very accomodating. Lots of shopping in that area. Could not believe the amount of retail around there.

For the price this was a good hotel to stay in. The continental breakfast was a little disappointing though. Again, a fair deal for the price ($75).

Lots of great restaurants in close proximity. A Hyvee grocery store nearby, a mall, a Menards (across the road) - and a Home Depot nearby - all the comforts of home!

The front desk was freindly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Went to the World Dairy Expo and will be back again next year! Thanks!

Great Value
We were in town for the Ironman and due to the high demand in hotel rooms we wanted an affordable place to stay. The hotel was great for the price and we simply called a cab when heading into Madison. A cab ride before tip to downtown will run $16-$19 before tip. Rooms are small but if you are there to only sleep, very much worth it!
