Just OK

Stayed at the hotel in Oct. '11. Not the best HIE that I've ever been to, but it was ok. The facility is a little dated, but kept basically clean. The breakfast and happy hours were fine as usual. The next time I'm in Madison, I will most likely look for a nicer place.

Pleasant Stay!

Nice and clean rooms. Continental Breakfast was a great way to start the day. Fairly close to Downtown Madison.

Good Hotel. Could use a bit more upkeep

The hotel was nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was tidy and clean. The bathroom fan was very noisy and didn't work very well. The light and the fan was all in one so you couldn't use the bathroom light without the noisy fan. The coffee pot took over a half an hour to brew 4 cups. Possibly needs to be replaced. [...]

overpriced for amenities/services offere

We stayed here to attend horse fair at Alliant energy center across the street.2 other hotels next to this ione offered shuttle acroos street,frig,micro in rooms w/2 queen beds,coffee all day long.Had a cot for son,but room was so tiny he had to crawl over the bed to get out.Won't stay here again,numerous other Horse Fair attendees w/ same complaint.

Madison getaway

Highly recommend the jacuzzi rooms! Monday-Thursday they have a 5-7 pm social/cocktail time in the lobby with complementary drinks and appetizers. Nice surprise!

Clean, quiet, helpful staff.

Across the road from the arena. Easy to get to downton Madison. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Entire hotel and room was very clean. Breakfast offered nice variety. Had a nice stay.

OK place

We were on a college visit. The Hotel was within a reasonable proximity to the campus. The hotel staff was informative and gave good directions to campus and other areas of interest.
