The Country Inns & Suites By Carlson Madison is conveniently located on the Southeast Side of Madison just minutes from the Alliant Energy Center, University of Wisconsin Campus, State Capital and Monona Terrace. Dane County Regional Airport is located 10 miles N from the hotel. The property offers complimentary continental plus breakfast daily. Other amenities include complimentary High Speed Internet Access, a complimentary USA Today available Monday through Friday, a local newspaper available Saturday and Sunday and complimentary local telephone calls. The hotel features an indoor pool and whirlpool as well as fitness center available to hotel guests 24 hours a day. East Towne Mall is located 10 miles E from the hotel. West Towne Mall is located 10 miles W from the hotel. Copps Food Center is located accross the street and is open 24 hours a day.

Great hotel

This hotel was right off the highway so we were able to jump back on and to go to wherever we needed to go. Breakfast was a nice variety and it was easy to find something for everyone. We would definitely stay there again.

Easy to find, tough to sleep

Easy location, good parking, friendly front counter, super fast check-in, and plenty of anything you might need nearby with instant access to main roads. Nice enough room: However, in spite of the air conditioning unit that was nearly enough to wake the dead, the room stayed kind of basement musty smelling the whole time. Where is a bottle of Fabreze when you really need one?

Great place to stay!

We visited Madison due to the military. We wanted a romantic room but something nice. The room we had was a large suite with a jacuzzi tub. It also had a microwave and fridge. The hotel had an indoor pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was included, it was okay but the hot items where the same everyday.

GREAT STAY

WE WENT TO THE BADGER GAME ON SATURDAY THEN CAME BACK TO THE HOTEL FOR A SHORT SOAK IN THE HOT TUB. LATER WE WENT OUT TO RED ROBIN FOR DINNER WHICH WAS DELICIOUS. AFTER THAT WE WENT OUT DOWNTOWN TO SEE ALL OUR FRIENDS THAT ARE STILL HERE! WE HAD AN EXCELLENT TIME!

Nice, comfortable hotel stay

Was there to visit Madison and this was cheaper and a short drive from downtown. Very nice, helpful, friendly staff. Average amenities, no hotel restaurant. Walking distance to a couple restaurants if you don't want to venture far. Overall, it was a nice, stress free trip. Would go back if you need a cheap and nice place to stay in the area.
