Baymont Inn And Suites Madison East

We were visiting our daughter in Madison and stayed here two nights. The location is a bit out of the way, but the room was fine and the price was very good.

Rooms were exceptionally clean. Bathroom, too. Beds were a little too firm but I like that better than other motels who have way too soft beds. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Gave us quick and easy directions to a couple of places we wanted to go. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Complimentary breakfast was pancakes, bagels, toast, cereal, milk, coffee, fresh fruit, and mini muffins. We stayed here last year and came back due to the cleanliness we've experienced. We weren't let down.

Common areas were dingy and had a lingering cigarette odor. Some recent updates to the dining area helped. Rooms were really clean and generally comfy. Recent updates to bathroms were nice. I didn't think the rooms were as small as others thought, but it would probably be pretty cozy with two beds. Pretty loud place - some people are living in the hotel, so there were a few doors propped open and some pretty loud arguing between mom and kids in the morning. Overall, a good value and easily accessible to the freeway, even if there's not much other than chain restaurants within walking distance. The management is clearly trying and making progress.

We stayed a couple nights during a football weekend in Madison. The motel is several miles from campus but it is the most affordable in the area. The staff was helpful and did a good job. I would stay there again.

It severd a purpose as it was very conveniently located for both work and for eating dinner. Easy to get to right of of 151. Room was very basic. Bathroom was really small, but served it's purpose. Pretty basic stuff. Wireless worked well.

Visited Madison for a conference that started on the weekend. The hotel was clean, comfortable with a location near resturants and shopping. Nothing fancy but the decor was pleasing. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was that I was near one of the exits and you could hear people coming and going. Fortunately, it was a fairly quiet crowd there on the weekend. I think it was priced right.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was responsive, efficient, and courteous. What more can you ask of a hotel?

We came to Madison for state bowling tournament. Room was small & crowded & extremely hot. Beds were small & hard, the seat area on one of the chairs was broken.I almost needed to step partially in tub to shut bathroom door. Sink in room was a very bad location was hit by entrance door when washing my face. Breakfast good only because of coffee, it was so crowded trying to get anything to eat plus no room to relax to eat, I felt like I was being herded quickly through selection & seating space. Plus there was crusty old pizza crust sitting on window sill. I would not stay again.

It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Good value for the bucks. It was close to downtown Madison and the airport
