Warm hospitality and the comforts of home make a great stay in Madison
The Best Western West Towne Suites is in a great location for getting to the University of Wisconsin, Alliant Energy Convention Center and West Towne Mall. With a pass to the nearby and fully-equipped YMCA, there is no excuse for skipping the workout. The hot, made-to-order breakfasts are complimentary, so there is no reason to skip the most important meal of the day either. All rooms come equipped with free wireless Internet access. Nothing special
Just an ok hotel for a night or two. Included breakfast was sub-par. It took forever to get scrambled eggs and they were terrible.

Much better on the inside than outside
The hotel stay was great, the inside was very nice, and clean. Breakfast was great but a little small. Only knocks I have is that the parking lot wasn't plowed the whole weekend and the outside looks a little dated/old.

Madison Central
We wanted to be in central Madison, near relatives, not in the clusters of motels by the airport far from downtown and our relatives. This was the perfect combination of location and price. Another Best Western that our relatives suggested was quite a bit more expensive. No need to pay more when it was all here.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
If yiu have never been to Madison, downtown State Street is a must see, a car free funky shopping street between the Capitol and the University on the lake. If you just need some items from the store but don't have time for the unique mall experience, there is a large shopping center near the motel.

Worthwhile........
Stayed in town for testing at Meriter Hospital, everything was within driving distance, there is a shopping center just down the street, plenty of fast food, and local restaurants. There was a complimentary breakfast service I never got a chance to use because I had to leave before they served, but staff was approachable and helpful. Rooms were clean and it was an overall good deal. It's right off the freeway, but even the back-roads are easy to navigate through and is just a few minutes drive from the university campus and the capitol.

Just what we expected.
The room was perfect....we were surprised to find that it had a kitchenette. The breakfast was a nice bonus.
