Not a nice place
We stayed here after visiting cranfest. This was the last place available and it was not worth the price we paid. The hotel is very very old. There was mold growing in the bathroom. If you have allergies, you will be miserable.

Not worth it
This was a last minute booking; it was the only hotel left that had vacancy that was closest to La Crosse on OctoberFest weekend. We booked it 4 days before we left. It was a highly overpriced dive.

Skip this Location!
If you are looking for a place to stay in La Crosse, WI...cross this one off your list! The hotel is in a bad location, and the hotel is pretty run down. The TV in our room didn't work, and the room was dusty. The hotel maids were VERY loud in the hall at 7am cleaning, so it was not a quiet stay.

Great spot for an overnight get away
We arrived via Amtrak. They offered a taxi ride to the hotel at their expense. The pool was great and the attached restaurant offered very good food. The hotel offered discounts on the food, also a free drink or dessert.

A real surprise!!!!
This was a real surprise!!! When we came into LaCrosse, we saw the hotel and from the outside, it didn't look very good!!! (Peeling paint, unkept yard, etc. We were pleasantly surprised when we got inside. The entry was open and well decorated with nice furniture and chandeliers. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable queen-sized beds. The bathroom was large and had plenty of towels and other amenities. The Continental Breakfast was huge with lots of offerings. It was a pay breakfast but with the coupons, it ended up being $25 for 6 people and we ate our fill. It was just excellent. The only problem was there was a Bass Fishing competition going on so it hinder the amount of parking since there were lots of boats in the parking lot and the owners like to drink a lot of beer so were a little noisy!

IT WAS ALRIGHT....
First I have to say the staff was soo friendly, helpful, and nice. When we 1st arrived to La Crosse we call the hotel and they sent a courtesy taxi to come and get us from the airport...nice. The room was a two bedroom, but as our stay went on we realized we should have gotten a room with a microwave and refrigerator. It was kind of noisey cause there were kids in the hotel but it wasn't that bothersome. The room had wi-fi plus! And the room was nice and clean.

Inexpensive overnighter
This was a very easy hotel to come and go to. Parking right outside of your room. It was a little run down, but for the price you can't beat it!
