Microtel Inn Janesville

Everything was as expected for a budget motel. Free breakfast was bit skimpy but I didn't book a room there for the meal. Only distraction was that the motel was almost empty that night and yet we were put in a room where repairs were being made to the shower walls. Not great planning on the part of the staff. Overall, a good experience.

We were very happy with the room and location of the Motel. The room was small but fine for us. We were having a get together with friends & we used the large breakfast room for our drinks & snacks.

Location was really great and the rate was good. The hotel room itself was dirty, we found hair all over the room and had a musty damp feeling as we were on the ground floor.

The staff was very friendly and the room met all of my needs. It had a lot of the larger hotel options with the charm of a small hotel.

We were in town to visit family. Have stayed at most hotels in Janesville. We usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express which is in the same parking lot as the Microtel. We just needed some where to stay for one night, we didn't have time to use a pool or any extras that the Holiday Inn offers. So we chose the Microtel, which was a pleasant surprise. The beds are pretty much identical, the only difference between these two hotels is pool-room size-overall hotel size-breakfast. Microtel was very clean, very comfortable, the breakfast was good, well worth the money.

It was very clean and pleasant. Hotel has many restaurants and convenient locations near by. Also its very close to high way. Will use again.

Nice close location, adaquate colonial breackfast, only thing negative was: no coffee pot in room.

The room was clean and met our expectations. We were looking for an cheep place just to sleep after a wedding at the holiday in express across the parking lot. I saw alot of familar faces in the morning so I think many people had the same idea.

We went shopping there is a nice group of stores with great deals. Nice places to eat. It needed a indoor pool, a coffee pot in the room.

I got a very restful night's sleep and the staff was pleasant and helpful. However, upon entering my room, there was a bad triangular tear in the entry carpet which soured my first impression tremendously. Had it not benn for that impression, everything else would have been great. Everything else was clean with a good quality bed and very quiet. As a matter of fact, breakfast was to be from 6:30 - 9:30. I mentioned upon check in that I needed to be on the road by 6:30, so they opened at 6:00 to accomodate. Many thanks to a staff that was most helpful.
