Microtel Inn And Suites Green Bay

The staff and General Manager were very nice and attentive. However, I had to change rooms because the heating system was not functioning. The pool and Hot tub were absolutely filthy, brown dirty water in the pool and the hot tub and to top it off there was, what looked like a roll of toilet paper in the pool. When I first walked into the pool and spa area there was another quest walking out complaining on how dirty and unsanitary the pool area was

the hotel was ill prepared to accomodate the number of guests booked. No towels in pool area, no extra blankets avaiable, too long waiting to check in, no ice machine on our floor, no refrigerator(which was requested), no coffee cups available for the coffee in lobby, unruly drinking guests allowed to loiter in hall leading to pool, etc. NOT a fun time and total waste of money.

I've already written specifically to the hotel about our experience but would like to share with everyone else. When my friend and I checked in (at seperate times) the lady who was not busy at the front desk made us wait and then was rude when we would ask her questions. Later we went down to the pool and there was a dog in the pool area. Thankfully not in the pool (at least while we were there) but we're not at the beach we're at an indoor pool! Our room was impossible to keep at a consistant good temperature, and at 2am there were still young kids yelling and running up and down the hallways. Finally in the morning when we were downstairs getting our ok breakfast someone called from a different room asking for a late check out which was granted to them. When we asked for one (since we were doing a fun run that morning and would have liked to shower afterwards.) we were told that it was too busy and they weren't giving late checkouts. Ok? Needless to say we won't be returning to that Microtel for sure, still up in the air if we'll stay at any other ones in the future.

The rooms are on the small side, the carpet in the room was loose and full of wrinkles, the rooms could have been a bit cleaner also. The shower head was loose from the wall. The rooms look clean at first, but if you look in the corners and areas that are hard to clean they look as if they were never cleaned.

I attended the EAA AirVenture 2011. The drive was doable, it took about 45 minutes to Oskhosh. The people in WI are terrific! The people at the Microtel were very friendly, and helped make my time there very nice. Clean and neat. Having an early morning breakfast in the Hotel was very nice, while it was contineal in nature, it was adequate and appreciated. Larry Simpson

Everything went wrong on my flights....instead of arriving in the afternoon, I got there at 2am. The staff greeted me by name...all the other reservations had arrived. And on the hottest day of the year they had dialed my room down to a comfortable level. I like Microtel because their similarity from hotel to hotel is so good. I know just what I am going to get...all the way down to automatic doors...a Godsend when pulling two roller bags.

My daughter and I were staying here, just passing by, on our way to our mother-daughter trip. Our first room had blood smeared on the door jam of the bathroom. They then put us in a new room. In the second room the bathroom floor was dirty, the inside of the toilet was completely black - not just a ring - completely black, like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Also one of the lights, when turned on constantly flickered. The breakfast area was almost non-existant - enough for 4 people to eat at. I would never - ever go back to this place again - nor suggest anyone else stay there.

My husband and I went up to Green Bay for an anniversary weekend get-away. The hotel was GREAT! It was very clean, the staff was all nice, and the hotel in general was great. Convenient location, and easy access to entertainment, restaurants and shopping. The room was smaller than I expected, but it was still big enough for us. Thermostat was tricky though; it was all digital and a little tricky to regulate the temp, but was still good. One of the biggest bonuses was that the pool and hot tub area were open 24 hours, so when we got back from the casino late, we were still able to go swimming to unwind. All in all, this was an amazing trip and the hotel was great! We will DEFINITELY be staying there again, most likely for another anniversary trip! :)

Room was clean and nice for the price. Would recommend staying here.
