Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Green Bay

Good Experience

The hotel is in a good location to Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Prior to the Monday Night game on December 7, we were able to check in by early afternoon. A pleasurable stay the entire time we were there.

We enjoyed our visit very much. Easy access to the pool as room was right across from the pool. Had fridge in the room but wish it would have had a microwave in the room. Although there was one available for use in the lobby. All in all good trip.

Green Bay Packers night = noisy, on the parking lot, in the hallway, all in the middle of the night After an intercontinental trip of more than 14 hours I couldn't even get a bottle of water. Service was OK and breakfast too.

Chose this hotel for location and rate. Found several things in the hotel not working. Ice machine wasn't working and obviously hadn't been for some time. Soda machines also did not work. Staff at the desk were pleasant and very helpful. The continental breakfast was bleak. Ate some things I happened to have with us instead. We did make reservations for two upcoming trips at this hotel, I know to plan on having my own healthy breakfast options with me.

Was in town for funeral. When I arrived I noticed a big sign on the front door that said "NO PETS", right there I was upset. I had specifically looked for one with pets and a poolside room. I had to waste 30 minutes at the front desk while my famile waited in the car with my puppy. The front desk clerk said that they didn't allow pets. Than he gave me Orbits number to call, than their Hotel front desk couldn't dial long distance, so he had to use his personal cell phone to dial out as I was on the phone complaining to an Orbitz Rep, he called his manager, which in turn Ok for my small pet, but was told to charge me an additional $10.00 for my pet and to move me way down the hall without a poolside room. To make the long story short. The Clerk was clueless what his policy and procedure were and their was this conflict about the Owners of the Hotel aloowing pets but the Managers won't. I also was suppose to to have a microwave in my room, didn't get that either and we bought microwavable popcorn for the kids to enjoy. what I paid for and recieved was not worth it. I won't go there again.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice rooms;were clean and roomy. Beds were comfortable. It was very quiet. Will stay again when in town.

The Green Bay suites is in a good location as far as shopping and restaurant availability. Our room however was not so great. There was a strong Chlorine smell, stains through out the carpet, soap scum around the tub and the furniture and bedding were shabby to say the least. We called to complain about the room so the front desk allowed us to look at another room. The smell was not as strong but the carpet and furniture were no better than the first room. There was also construction going on at the hotel (a new roof) so there were barricades all around the parking lot. We would not recommend this hotel.

The room was large and the bed was comfortable. It was pretty bare bones otherwise and without an internet connection, which is not competitive in today's market.
