Loved It!
The hotel is close to Immanuel Lutheran College. We come once a year for the annual grade school basketball tournament. The hotel is clean, roomy, and comfortable. Everyone was friendly. There were many people in town and the breakfast room could be larger and they could have used another person taking care of the food. She was overworked, my opinion. She was gracious and very helpful.

Long walk from hotel
We have eaten at Randy's for years. It's great midwestern food, great service, and reasonable prices. Randy's is on the same road as the hotel.

The Hampton is reliable
Generally the Hampton is always a good stay, if pricey for what you get (over $100/night). Room was very clean; usually the staff are great but on this stay the breakfast server was very brusque, kept pushing past people to refill trays without saying excuse me, seemed to be having a really bad day! This is very unusual for this hotel.

We went to both Stella Blue's and The Livery and loved both...plus the farmer's market in Phoenix Park is wonderful. Exciting to see the changes Eau Claire has made in the 'old' downtown!

Decent but...
We stayed at the Hampton Inn Eau CLaire for a wedding. Overall the room was decent and appeared to have been renovated. However, the air conditioner leaked water even after the repair guy "fixed" it. The ice machines didn't work either which isn't a huge deal but just annoying. The breakfast had plenty of options but the warm breakfast was not so great. The hotel is in a good location.

Head up to Chippewa Falls and tour Leinie's! That place was awesome! Also there is a small winery close by called River Bend.

Great location for the price
We went to Eau Claire to visit my daughter who is a freshman at the University. The hotel was comfortable, within walking distance and had very friendly staff. The breakfast was great. We will stay there everytime we go to visit.

Friendly Staff
For the amount I paid, the room was rather small. Parking was also an issue in the hotel's lot. Would only recommend for a one-night stay or if nothing else is available.

very quite area
This hotel is located in a very quite area. Easy access to stores, restaurant and highway. The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar are excellent. But there are some suggestion need to be done too. For example the front desk person didn't have his name tag. I have to wait at least 20 minutes at the check-in desk before anyone notice i was there. Other than that everything was great. I dont mind going back.
