worst time of my life
The internet didn't work at first. They brought down a modem. Then there was hot water that night the there was no hot water after the first night. We have a 8 month old and a two year old hot water is something that we needed. They said we would get a full refund because of all of the problems we had on our trip. Over all wished we would have stayed home.

They did not get me the right hotel room based on my itinerary and also would not switch me rooms at all. I don't recommend this hotel at all.

Noisy all night
The people provided decent service, but ignored our original call at 9:30 p.m. about noise and my family did not get much sleep the remainder of the night. I did however hear othe guests comment about it being quiet

Experiened traveler
Great location, pleasant stay
Hotel was an easy drive from Chippewa Vally airport. Since it's located on a main street, there were lots of restaurants and stores nearby. My queen-size bedroom was clean and had all the basic necessities that I wanted. On the 3rd night, my heating unit stopped working at 10pm. I called the office and they immediatly came and switched me to another room 2 doors down. My new room was already warm and toasty, which was important to me, being from California and in Wisconsin during their winter-snow season. The layout of the hotel was nice and the spread they had for the continental breakfast got me going until mid-morning. Planning on going back to WI in the fall and I will stay there again.

Nice but....
housekeeping knocked on my door in the morning...left my door open when they checked to see if I was in there. I was...sleeping then when I wascoming back from my swim housekeeping was in my room, stripped the bed took all the towels. I didn't need to check out for another hour.

long night
Had makeshift college dorm rooms just below us and listened to their music all night long, couple that with the couple dozen 9yr old or so hockey players running in the hallways unsupervised made for one long and unpleasant night. Beds were awful! Lumpy, hard, very uncomfortable BUT they were clean! Did not like having to walk the "smokers huddle" right outside both doors to our hallway. Could barely open the doors with them in the way and felt like Puff the Magic Dragon after clearing their "cloud" move it farther from the door please!!!!

UWEC mom
Great value for the money!
The staff were very helpful and always very nice. The location was close to UWEC campus and convenient to anywhere else we wanted to go in the area. My mother and I stayed here for my daughter's college graduation weekend and we would recommend the hotel. It is not fancy but it was comfortable and quiet. Having a restaurant and bar attached was nice too.

great staff
Our reservation was for eight people in three rooms. We got three rooms with queen beds. We could not fit. fortunately the hotel gave us a two bed room and three rollaways. One person had to sleep on the floor.

Wonderful motel!!
We were in Eau Claire for a football game, the motel was very clean, and nice decor. Great to have a frig in the room, but plus!! Staff was very kind and helpful! Will definitely stay here again.
