The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and inviting. I appreciate the motel having a computer in the lobby since I didn't have a laptop (I could check my emails). Over all great expereince.

All you need
I was in the area for business and I chose this hotel because it had the best value of everything around. I didn't have to pay extra for internet or for breakfast (which included waffles. Yum!) and the room was clean and comfy. Nothing fancy but just what you need. If I'm ever back in the area and the price remains as good as it was, I'll definitely come back.

great location and great front desk staff!
The Staff at the front desk was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable of the area and sites, and the location was perfect! The only down side was the cleanliness of the Hotel carpets. In the hallway, the elevator, and the bathroom tile in the room was dirty with heel marks embedded in the tile. But overall, I would recommend this Hotel

La Quinta
What an awful experience. Thay told me there were no refrigerators in the hotel. Turns out they do and all suites have them. I would have upgraded. They told me there was no laundry service. Turns out there was. I went to the third floor to do my own laundry, the vending machine was empty. The candy vending machines didn't work either. What a mess. I would never go back there or suggest to a friend or coworker to stay at La Quinta. Dan Daly

Weekend getaway
My son and I stayed there for a weekend getaway for a local festival. The front desk staff were friendly and upbeat. Very nice. The room's floor was stained but clean. Understandable that we were placed in that room because we did have our dog with us. Not a problem with it at all. The lady who ran the continental breakfast was a major grump. Had an issue every time she had to go refill something. Ruined the meal for us. Overall, it was well worth the money. I plan to stay there again next year.

Good nights sleep, but couple of flaws
Good price and very comfortable room, good nights sleep. The biggest flaw was the TV system. They don't allow you to plug in external AV equipment. It's a cheap terrible business practice that a lot of motels/hotels do. They think it's going to force you to pay their X bucks per hour for pay per view and strange hotel n64 system. But I was staying there for a video game convention, and needed to be able to test out video game consoles and games while back at my hotel. And the TV lockout system prevented that. I will never leave good review or fully recommend or stay at again any motel/hotel (or cruise ship for that matter) that prevents you from plugging in external A/V to the TV. Also, the night we got there, the elevator was making weird noises. Then it was shut down for the next to days, so we had to take the stairs all the time. No problem for us, being young guys, but I could imaging some old people on the 5th floor having a problem with that. One reason I picked the place was for the waffle breakfast. but the breakfast was just "eh". No skim milk, only 2%, which is annoying. Do they assume everyone wants to fill their days saturated fat requirement at breakfast? Well I guess I shoudln't talk since I was there for the waffles. But 2% tastes like drinking cream to me. But the waffles were'nt that great and the little selection of cheap pastries were low-grade. But this doesn't really reflect negatively in the review, it's probably still above average for standard motel continental breakfast, especially since most don't have anything. The fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs were nice. The maintenance lady who ran the breakfast was very nice. Overall I'd give it 5 stars for the comfortable rooms, great nights sleep, good location, friendly staff, great price, but docked 2 stars for the TV lockout system.
