Nice place to sleep

Very nice room, well appointed, enjoyed the in house laundry, no breakfast, nice location, previous renter had long black hair as it was still in the tub! Sad, as all else was great but it does make me wonder? The Brookfield Mall was a nice, close, visit. The whole area was nice, upscale.

Nice job

Rooms were clean and the access to alot of different dining and markets was excellent. did not use alot of the features of the hotel and would prefer WiFi service included with room fee.

Pretty Good for its Price.

For the price I was charged, I expected a low-end hotel. I was wrong. I kind of felt I was being undercharged at some points. My room was clean and spacious. It contained a full-size fridge w/freezer, microwave, stove w/ pots, pans, plates, utensils. The staff was good. I only saw and dealt with the desk clerk. The cable TV they had was decent. The hotel was very quiet over the weekend. It's in a very nice part of Milwaukee with tons of shopping strips. I got all this for $62/night. Only 2 things I didn't really like. The hotel had this strange smell to it. After a few hrs, I got use to that smell and didn't notice it anymore. The 2nd thing was that they had older TV's that didn't have AV jacks, so I couldn't plug up my Xbox. Overall, I like this hotel and probably will stay there again.

Great Location for Cheap

We loved the location of this hotel and it was actually very nice for being so cheap. The only bad thing was they must not have checked the freezer because there was some food left over making us question the overall cleanliness. Other than that we didn't see anything and we also got a complimentary room upgrade which was very nice. Also the next morning we were trying to purchase drinks (which has to be bought at the front counter) and the lady who was supposed to be behind the desk didn't show up for at least 10 mins we were waiting.

It's not just like home.

Checked in late and almost arrived after office would have been closed. Front desk hours should have been listed on reservation. Was not able to connect with internet as needed a password only available from front desk, which was closed when I tried using the internet at 11:15 PM. As listed above, the metal bed frame stuck out from bed on sides, which me to hurt feet and ankles 3 times getting in and out of bed.

Great room, [...]

The check in staff was fantastic. They helped me find a running route, directions around town and were very accommodating when we checked in. The room was big, and the price was great. Much better than anything around the area. The only cons were that the bed was a bit uncomfortable, and the shower didn't drain properly. But for the price, you can't beat this hotel!

Original Pancake house is just down the street. Great place, but make sure that you call ahead and make reservations, or plan on waiting. The wait was an hour for us, but totally worth it!

basic room

I enjoyed that the windows open to get fresh air, and the kitchenette was very nice. The room was clean, but the hallways had trash in the stairwells, the outside doors did not lock upon closing. The sheets were "thin".
