not all that clean....

the main reason for our stay was someplace decent enough and not real expensive - as we wouldn't be there very long. The carpet was in need of cleaning, many spots and spills and the room itself wasn't throughly clean - food by bed boards, plastic wrap under chair by desk. Most likely would not choose this again. Staff at desk were friendly upon check in.

Friednly Staff, Good Breakfast

The Appleton Super 8 (College Ave) is clean, easy to find, and has free waffles in the morning. What more can a weary, budget-conscious traveler want? My stay there was perfectly uneventful!

Nice Motel, for the price.

We were staying in town for the Wisconsin Woman's State Bowling tournament. The rooms were very nice and the refrig./microwave was a great plus for us. The breakfast selection was a little less than other Super 8's I have stayed at, which was a little disappointing, but what was offered was good. Staff was very nice and helpful. On Saturday of our stay, we had some loud/noisy people who came in after the bar and I'm sure woke up many visitors, but the staff handled it very quickly. That made our group feel safe and could get back to sleep. Overall, We would stay here again.

A lot of nightclubs/bars/restaurants downtown and the shopping mall is close by.

Not bad for the $$

Went to the EAA Airventure event in Oshkosh. South of the hotel by abiut 25 min's. Great location for this event..Easy On/Off RT41 and very close to airport. Plenty of walk-to resturants. Hotel has coupons for several. Staff seemed a little frazzled at times but responsive. Willing to fix any problems quickly. Breakfast menu not extensive but enough to get you on the road early.

Clean, basic services

It was an adequate room. Good location-close to shopping/restaurants. Only 1 waffle iron in the breakfast area so had to wait awhile for breakfast.

Good value

I found the Super 8 to be very comfortable. While not offering the plush amenities of higher rated places, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the service was excellent. It was located close to several nice places to eat and had easy access to the interstate, which was a plus for me. All in all, very good value for my money. I will be staying again in the near future.

The restaurant across the street was very good. Try the cedar plank talapia for dinner.
