BEST WESTERN Fox Valley Inn

Hotel staff and manger were incredibly rude. They made me feel uncomfortable during my entire stay. Beautiful hotel

Nice friendly place, great pool area and breakfast suite. Hotel in need of decoration as the rooms are clean but "well worn".

PROS:Price was good compared to area motels. CONS: Room smelled musty and bathroom area smelled of urine. This room definetly needed a good cleaning. Suggest doing a room inspection prior to accepting any room at this motel. It's your money!

They claim to have a shuttle but it is misleading as it only runs certain hours. I had an early morning flight and had to call a taxi. They never told me the shuttle does not run at 6 AM. I will not stay here again because of the limited shuttle service to the airport.

The room was clean and quiet. The pool area was nice, however, 2 of the jets in the whirpool did not work. The equipment in the workout room was old, should be updated.

We had some difficulty at check-in; they misspelled my name and gave us keys to someone else's room - luckily only the person's luggage was there when we opened the door. Once that was straightened out everything was fine. Pet friendly so the room had an odd smell, but everything was extremely clean. The staff was thoughtful enough to give us a room away from the noisy pool, so it was quiet too.

Everything was perfect, the room, the pool, the complimentary breakfast. Only problem was the front desk double billing me as I paid on this website when booked and they also billed me directly from the hotel. Just a hassle now to get my them to fix it and while I was checking out also someone else was complaining about mess up with their bill, so hotel itself was great, people at front desk need work on their billing skills as I would go back there, but will think twice about it due to the hassle I have now of trying to get by card credited for the double billing.

Our room was not very clean, gooey spots on the bathroom floor and the room hadn't been vacuumed. The bar/restaurant that is attached to the hotel is very nice. Great atmosphere. When we returned back to our room around 9pm, we quickly realized that we were not going to get much sleep that night because there was a wedding across the back parking lot in one of the hotel ballrooms and all we could here was loud, thumping music. We called the front desk and the man told us that we would have to deal with it and there was nothing that he could do. The complimentary poolside hot breakfast was nice, but we didn't enjoy it much because of lack of sleep from the night before.

We checked in Saturday,staff very courteous & helpful.Went out Sunday for shopping,when we came back late in the afternoon,found bed still not made or garbage emptied.Lsft Monday,overall went pretty good. Checkout was fast & very easy.

Well kept older hotel.
