Great place to rest before interview.
This hotel has complimentary shuttle to and from the Yakima airport. You will have to call once you land for them to pick you up. Staff was good. Rooms were clean and there didn't seem to be issues with anything. Overall, I had a great experience on my business trip.

Worst customer service - do stay here
Veterans, soccer moms, people with children should avoid this hotel. The manager does not care if you are a return, or satisfied, customer. The customer service is horrible. They overcharge everything. They surprise you at checkout with excess charges. Yakima is a great little town, the park behind the Mazda dealership was beautiful. I will stay where I am wanted next time I am in town, which is not the Red Lion.

The Best Choice.
Just what I needed for my stayover. I did not even have to ask for anything. I had what I needed. No interuptions. Friendly service.

A disappointment
No heat in room (it was below freezing outside). Reported to front desk. Nothing was done. Room was not serviced after first day. Moved nightstand to access power plug to find all sorts of trash. Service in hotel bar was non-existent. Not sure why it is called a hotel since many rooms are accessed from outside. The entire place is in dire need of renovation.

very tired downtown location
Quite an old run down facility. Very cut up lay out so we dragged our suitcases up and down stairs (no elevators) until we finally found our room.

Okay
To be honest the only thing i liked was that they had a lounge in there and we did not have to pay cover charge and we did not have to wait in line. We paid for 2 beds and only got 1 bed. People were complaining about noise in our room and we had the radio on. I didn't like that we had to walk all the way around and the parking wasn't very good either. It was ok but i will not stay there again.

Idaho Chicks
Good location for the tirp's purpose
Our bowling team stayed overnight for a bowling tournament. One room was nice, quiet and acc omodating. The other room was in a very noisy location. Parking was a bit limited, we had to park away from the room and were not able to have a visual on the vehicle. Compared to other trips and stays at Red Lions, our rooms were by the hotel laundry and we felt as if we were put in the "back forty".

Nice stay
Frony desk staff was awesome. restaurant needs a host to seat tables - 2 mornings in a row I waited longer than I needed to to be seated
