Need new beds
We went to Yakima for a bicycling trip. The hotel's location was great, just off the freeway. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room quality met our expectations for a 3 star hotel. The mini-fridge and microwave were nice. The breakfast was as expected for a hotel lobby breakfast (reports from other guests were that the make-it-yourself waffles were great). Our only problem was with the bed - it was downright painful! I could feel every single bed spring poking me. I tossed and turned all night, barely sleeping. Ugh! No matter how good everything else was, I won't stay there again because of the painful bed.

Bring your own mousetrap
I was not happy about the room. The last morning I was there, my son came to pick me up and he saw a mouse run across the floor. We then found mouse droppings on the desk. When I told them about it, they merely apologized, but never offered me anything else. I had asked them the night before about leaving one day early, but they said they couldn't do that[...] I was very disappointed in that, and the mouse. I will never stay there again[...]My parents owned a motel in Yakima for almost 30 years and never had mice. If this is the hidden jewel of Yakima, it should stay hidden.

STAY AWAY! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
Came to Yakima for buisness. We were going to be staying here for 10 nights. They advertised that they had sleep number beds. We called and verified this with them before booking. When we got there the clerk was initially very friendly although we did see her be very rude to a customer before us. We got to our room and discovered no sleep number beds, instead a sorry excuse for a bed that resembled a rock more than a matress! We brought it up to the clerk who didn't even know what a sleep number bed was and asked if we wanted our money back. We told her we needed to see if we could find another option first. We called another hotel and booked a room. When we returned to the front desk she turned into the bride of chucky! She started yelling at us and called us liars. She said she never offered our money back and that we were not going to get a refund! She then continued to tell us that we were liars and that our dogs weren't really service dogs. Even though we had shown her all the documentation for the dogs. We couldnt have gotten out of there fast enough! They refused to refund our money even though we stayed all of 15 minutes! This is not a place I would stay in for 1 night let alone 10. You should trust me and go somewhere else! Even if it costs you $20 more a night! The way we were treated was not worth saving a few bucks! This place is a dive and the lady behind the desk (yes she lives in the hotel) have no buisness serving the public.

Horrible little place
The only positive thing to be said was the bed was new... The room was dirty, and the staff horrible.

BEWARE!
The hotel double charged us and I had to go to my bank and claim fraud in order to get my money back. The manager kept leaving messages with the receptionist that she credited my account but never did and never even bothered to call me herself. This has been a nightmere. Stay away - they will rip you off. Very bad management and customer service. To top it off t he rooms are small, smelly and dark.

Room had a small ice box ...
Room had a small ice box and a very small micro wave on the top. the room we got had two double beds and was crowed in hard to come in the door with luggage second bed in the way. Long wait in the lobby. I over heard several lies told to customers, one wanted to be on the first floor told (sold out , none avaiable, later two more folks came in with out a reservation told they had one on the first floor. The room was clean, the towls were old and worn out stiff. Located behind a closed mall and Target store hard to find with one way streets etc. The lady at the desk in the a.m. was really nice , the breakfest was waffles, eggs and coffee. ok

Average Hotel
Average hotel for average price. No coffee maker in room was a detriment. Did have fridge, microwave small couch. This could be considered a motel maybe if it weren't for the couch to make it a "mini-suite." Upon arrival there was no soap and no shower curtain. Breakfast was ok...terrible eggs but good, hot waffles. Rooms are older and getting run-down.

OK for one night, but...
If I'd only been there for one night, this would have been an OK place to sleep. But I checked in on Friday evening and there was no maid service (no clean towels or garbage emptied) until Monday morning. And no coffee maker in the room! It was clean, but very run down -- badly in need of a remodel. And it was hard to find -- REALLY tucked away. (If you go, look for the Holiday Inn Express; once you find that, this motel is right across the street.)

Try someplace else
Desk worker told me I was in the wrong room. I could hear everything that was going on in the next room and every time someone went upstairs all I heard was bang, bang bang!
