Sleep dont eat

The front desk staff at the hotel was great as expected. Room was clean and comfortable coming in from the cold. The hotel had a couple of sports teams staying their and we didn't even notice we were placed perfectly. The buffet in the morning was chaotic, but aren't all mornings? The staff was running around and I assumed they were just a little behind with the team having their breakfast as well UNTIL I went to pay and the woman whose name tag read buffet supervisor was saying under her breath "last minute people showing up for breakfast" yeah that left an impression. Then with out me asking tells me wouldn't it be nice if people you hire show up for work? I smiled and left with out saying a word. I love the hotel business, used to work in it, I loved the front desk and housekeeping side but watch out for the dining here. Just down the street is a great BBQ place that knocked our socks off for dinner.

Nice place to stay!

The Red Lion was clean and the beds super comfy. The staff were super nice and the breakfast buffet rocked ( and is a great deal at under 5 bucks) The only drawback is that the restaurant only has limited hours for dinner and no room service option, which is a drawback for business travelers after a long day. Other than that, I'd definitely stay again.

Bed NOT Breakfast

The rooms and hotel itself were nice, clean, quiet and right on the main road. There was shopping and restaurants within walking distance; the staff was friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, the [...]website said breakfast was included and it was not!

great weekend

Went to a concert at the Gorge, then came back to Wenatchee to spend the night in a quality hotel with good rates. Red Lion met the bill.

OK accommodations

We went to enjoy the fall colors in Eastern Washington. There was a large soccer conference the same weekend. Lots of young noisy girls ran down the halls and splashed in the heated pool below our window. They also used the ice machine outside our room at all hours. Despite that, the room was clean and the staff found a roll away bed so my husband who had a cold could sleep comfortably.

Sightseeing tip: Not Applicable

Oktoberfest in Leavenworth is more enjoyable from Wenatchee. Go over early in the day and park in one of the lots. Go back to Wenatchee at night to eat dinner at one of the many restaurants that are much less crowded than in Leavenworth. Also, stop at Prey's fruit stand on Hwy 2 about ?10 miles west of Wenatchee.

Overall, Red Lion is a good stay

The hotel was very elegantly decorated and the rooms had a very classy feel for a very excellent (non-Fri or Sat night) price. Would have liked there to be a bathtub, but the shower stall was very nice and spacious. The bed was quite comfortable. The two negatives were: There was no fridge in the room as advertised and the pool was in dire need of cleaning.

Would definitely go back

The room was great a good size bathroom with a big shower area. The pool was the only thing I could find to complain about. There were small bugs-nats floating on top of the pool so it would have been nice to get a person out there more often to run a net across the pool to keep it somewhat clean. It was nice to have a restraunt and a lounge-bar located inside the hotel so you did not have to drive anywhere once you got there. If you have kidsor wanted to go eat someplace else there is a Red Robin and other places within a couple of blocks so the location was great.
