Unclean.

This hotel is poorly managed, and not well maintained. It is right off the highway and by the airport, which is great...but I don't think they know what a broom or a washer is. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Great hotel

We were lucky with the weather so we went out golfing, walking and wine testing. Our kids had a lot of fun in the indoor pool. Rooms are simple but clean. Breakfast was great, it would have been nice to have fresh fruits though...

clean but smoky

I made reservations almost a year in advance in anticipation of my son's graduation from the local college. I specifically asked for non smoking rooms through [...]and because the rooms were filled to capacity, ended up with "smoking" rooms that smelled of smoke. While the motel did their best to freshen up the rooms, my clothes reeked of smoke and my asthma acted up as a result. The motel said that it had not received special instructions from [...]re: non smoking rooms.

Walla Walla Wine Trip

We needed a basic place to sleep because we were out and about for most of the day visiting wineries. The room was really small but basic and very clean. The air conditioner and bathroom fan were loud when on in the evenings. We requested a refrigerator days earlier due to medical needs but the staff did not hold one for us. My group requested a hand-truck to bring in our purchases and was told the hotel didn't have one. I went to the office and requested a hand-truck and was given one. The staff seemed confused about their resources. The morning buffet was all carbs and sugar. It was stocked well with someone taking care of refilling supplies and food. The staff was friendly. We will not be staying at this place again.

Excellent staff with high standards

The staff at this hotel is very friendly and made our stay pleasant from the moment we walked in. The hotel itself has not been updated recently and is a bit rundown but at least it seemed clean. Don't be expecting anything decor that resembles the latest hotel fashions because you don't won't find them here. The breakfast was ok- they do have a wafflemaker but that's the only hot food items you'll find beyond coffee/tea. This hotel is located a couple miles from downtown but near a grocery store, casino and basic strip mall with the highway just a block the opposite direction. There was only lukewarm water our first morning since every other guest seemed to have used more than their fair share. The second morning we had better luck. The walls are pretty thin but fortunately the place got quiet with guests settled in for the night so we were able to sleep. I think they were turning the heat on for the first time since last winter and I found myself allergic to the air that was coming into our room. We asked for additional pillows, towels and another blanket and the staff happily accommodated the request. We did not use the pool or hot tub but there was a large group of kids playing in there just about every time we walked by. Easy check-in and check-out. Remember to tell them if you didn't use the safe so you can have the additional charged removed from your final bill.

So So stay

I made a quick trip for a friends wedding, the room was rather stark, but clean. The decor was mid century east German. I hope that they were in the midst of painting, the outside was in the process. Good that they had a breakfast, but the place struk me as over priced.

Super 8 close to super

Walla Walla is where my grandma lived when I was growing up, so we went down to visit her a lot, so this trip was a walk down memory lane. The motel was in the area of Walla Walla I knew best. The day we were there, it was 103 degrees. My one criticism of the motel was that the indoor pool was hotter than it was outside. It was 98 degrees in there, but humid, so we went outside to cool off. The Superstart breakfast was awesome, and the rooms were what we needed, quiet and clean. The majority of the time we were there, we were out and about, but while we were at the motel, it was what we needed.
