There was a club across the street and they were loud, some of the people were parked in our parking lot and the mattresses were bad.

Wonderful Birthday getaway
I stayed at the Red Lion Tacoma for a birthday night just to get away and see friends in the area. I found the staff to be very friendly, (they even put together a little birthday bag of goodies for me) the room was nice and clean which is huge for me. I am very picky! One thing I loved about the beds is that they do not have dirty old bedspreads on them like some places. So you know they are clean. I slept like a baby. Enjoyed a waffle from their breakfast for breakfast, coffee in my room and you have to love the noon checkout time. I relaxed until the last minute!! I will go back for sure.

Work travel
There was hair in the tub and on the roll of toliet paper in the room. Also, the washclothes were a bit dingy looking. It is close to I-5 but that means you can hear the freeway pretty well also.

It was close to several different restaurant options although access was a bit tricky having to cross 4 lanes of traffic to get in and out of hotel.

Good place to stay for a night... Plus fresh baked cookies
Not too different from most hotel rooms I stay in. TV was not HD. Good food at the pizza place across the street. Receptionist made us fresh cookies while we watched the Sugar Bowl. I didn't try out the pool or fitness center. The breakfast was good. Better than most.

Nice, convenient
Once inside, it's beautiful and great friendly staff and incredibly clean. But, not the greatest neighborhood. It is right off the freeway which was nice.

Red Lion Hotel
the room was cleam and hotel was quiet and easy to get too. The biggest recommendation I can give to the management is to STOP USING LYSOL!!!! This place reeked of it, beyond anything other then a dirty resturant trying to cover up smells that should not be---hmmm. Also, breakfast here is a joke- don't bother, all the other hotels have a much better selection.

Motel is family getaway & location great
My wife & myself were there to see our son in the Air Force for the week. The motel staff made our stay pleasant & enjoyable. If we needed anything it was available. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. If we needed directions to anywhere it was provided. My wife's luggage was lost at the airport & the staff called right away when it was delivered. Excellent motel to stay at!!!!

Good Hotel with some limitations
Great Staff, Great Bed really comfortable, Easy Wi-Fi hook-up, Good Laundry Facilities, The cookies in the Lobby was a great touch, Service was good, Didnt get to use the pool, But looked adequate, The only complaint would have been that the contenential breakfast was in a small room with few tables, which caused a lot of waiting, plus the selection of food was limited compared to others I have been at, also the work-out room was really to small for a hotel this size, no weights and only a couple of cardio machines. Had a great time and again the staff was 5 stars.
