Seven-story hotel on the north bank of Spokane River
Red Lion at the Park is the closest hotel to the Spokane Veterans Arena, and is one of the largest convention hotels in Spokane, Washington. Kids stay entertained at Red Lion at the Park with two swimming pools, waterslides and the adjacent Riverfront Park. Cross the river on a footbridge to be at downtown shops and restaurants in minutes. Gonzaga University is nearby.

great stay
most comfortable beds i have slept in. close to everything we needed. wasn't really excited about the 9 dollar parking fee added onto my bill. but we will stay again, hopefully in the summer to enjoy the park a little more and the outside pool

Needs a good cleaning
Indoor pool was closed when we got there and since our kids love to swim that was a drawback. There was no mention of this on their website, there was also no mention during the reservation process. First thing we noticed upon entering the room was an old used band aid on the foot stool. The next day while looking under the bed for a missing shoe we found a cigarette butt. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone.

Stay was ok. Hot tub was luke warm, not enough towels at poolside and the towels were the size of hand towels! Breakfast was not worth $9.95.

Summer stay
Upon check in I was told they didn't know if they had any rooms, and there was absolutely NO PARKING. We had to park across the street and pay and lug everything back and forth. The room was nice, and so was the pool. No one ever mentioned having to pay if you did park in lot. ridiculous. The hotel was overbooked.

great location
attractive spacious room, especially comfortable queen bed. Fabulous big screen television--however the cable service did not work and that is my only negative comment.

Lovely hotel on the river, great price!
I stayed here for a training that was held on site. The hotel is lovely and there is a fantastic walking trail right behind the building that follows the river. I worked out in the gym, swam in the pool, ate a great meal in the restaurant, and enjoyed extremely friendly and helpful service.

Long walk from hotel
When I asked the staff where the nearest health food store was, no one had any idea. Huckleberrys is a GREAT health food store, about a 30 minute walk (or quick cab ride) from the hotel. It's located in a beautiful and historic neighborhood on a hill that's fun to walk around.

Typical Red Lion
Typical Red Lion - the high price does not correspond to quality. Way better choices out there. This one had the added attraction of dozens of kids. I seriously thought there was a kiddie soccer game going on in the hall outside my room until around midnight each night. Quite bizarre.

Mom's taxi service
It was nice
It was a good location, nice room & great view. I did have to pay a extra $14.00 just to park in their parking lot. I stood in a long line to check in and the $10.00 /person buffet breakfast wasn't any better than a Travelodge cont.brkft thats included with the stay. But it was nice even though we had to use our room towels for the pool.
