Staff was nice. our phone kept ring and the person would hang up as soon as we picked up. We used the shuddle was alittle ... dirty. As we were waiting i notice one of the staff reaching into the popcorn and taking a handful out and into his mouth that was not very sanatary.

This is close to the airport and that is why it was selected. It is off the freeway so convenient to getting around. It is quiet, clean, and very nice reception personnel, but it requires some special touches and attention. Would be nice to have a newspaper at my door each AM also, like USA Today. It can improve it if pays attention to comments like this.

While the hotel is near the airport, downtown Spokane is only a couple miles away. There are many restaurants and places to shop just minutes away.

When we checked in they gave us a dirty room that was nasty, front desk did not seem to really care. they moved us to ... another room and there was hair on shower walls. I stayed here last year and it was good but this time not so good

Clean & friendly
The key cards for room entry did not work properly and had to be re-issued twice. The internet access was intermittant & too ... slow to be of any value. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient but the noise from the nearby freeway precludes a good night's sleep.

Nice, but needs to improve in some areas
I, and many of my family members, were there for a memorial. The hotel is clean and the staff is courteous. However, a ... ladder was outside our door for 30 hours with the ceiling tiles out and nobody removed it. The maid did not clean my room despite the fact that I was gone all day. I had to request someone to come and do it. Finally, the TV channel choices were awful. Only local channels, lots of sport channels, a few cable choices, CNN, but NO FOX News Cable Channel. I found that unacceptable. The buffet breakfast was Okay, but could offer a few more choices, e.g. peeled hard boiled eggs, more fresh fruit, etc. Coffe pot in the room is worthless and soap dispensers in the shower are not as nice as having your own shampoo, soap,etc. The nightly price is not much better than the competition. They should improve the amenities.

Very enjoyable
The front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Check-in and check-out was fast. The room was clean and ... comfortable. I wasn't able to take advantage of the pool or the fitness room, but hope to on my next visit. They have a free breakfast there which was great and it is offered in a spacious and clean eating area. They have free coffee and popcorn available pretty much all the time. This was my second stay at this hotel and will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in the Spokane area.

Great Staff - Comfortable - Great Rates
We stayed here one night before flying out of Spokane. The front desk staff was very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about ... the area. The rooms were very comfortable, especially the bed. We had an issue with our room when we arrived, bu the staff quickly put us in another room. The rates were very reasonable.

Close to airport
The staff at the Appletree Inn were very friendly and helpful. However, for Best Western Hotel, I was extremely ... disappointed. The hotel was right beside a junkyard of a trailer park and the hotel was old and in need of some major updating. For the value, I would definitely stay elsewhere next time.

Convienent but very traveled
location of the property was very accessable to the airport for a very early morning flight. The room was spacious but noisy ... from the squeeks from the rom above. The room had a strong smell of bleech which leads you to believe it was clean but a strong order to sleep with. This hoetel has had many visitors in the past. All amenities where there that you could want and the price is average.
