The original Snoqualmie Falls lodge built atop the falls in 1916 was a logging route stopover famous for its lumberjack breakfast. Building on the existing lodge and inspired design the Salish Lodge was built in 1988 and has since become a haven for visitors seeking rejuvenation and renewal in the breathtaking setting of the cascade mountains. Our world class spa was added in 1996 to create the ideal destination for relaxation and retreat. The spectacular falls majestic mountains and expansive views of break taking countryside combine to awe and inspire. Rooms are luxurious yet cozy each featuring a fireplace and double Jacuzzi tub enclosed in windows to take in the beauty of the surroundings.

Room was nice. Loved the spa tub and the location is amazing. The service was just ok. Check-in was at four but the room wasn't ready upon arrival (4:15). Had to wait another 45 mins before room was ready.

Good getaway with gf

Came here for the night, she loved it. Nice view of the falls. Expensive amenities and $65 charge for a dog is extreme.

Beautiful hotel

The Salish lodge was great. Wonderful location by Snoqualmie falls, super friendly staff, and decent rooms. Both restaurants served good food, though a bit slowly.

Unbelievable, amazing hotel

The Salish Lodge is truly unbelievable. The location of the hotel is directly above an expansive waterfall, which you can hear from anywhere on the lodge grounds. The rooms are beyond amazing with wood burning fireplaces and jacuzzis. My only complaint is that food at the lodge is very expensive and there aren't a lot of options for outside dining. But, if you have the finances to stay here, by all means, go.

Much anticipated destination, great location, lodge experience was not the best

Salish lodge and eateries, as described, sound enticing. Unfortunately it fell short in two significant ways, we were unable to enjoy the fresh air and hear the falls from the balcony without cigarette smoke drafting in at all hours. The Attic lounge was not enjoyable, slow service and the artisan cheese plate ridiculous for the price. We had to ask the waitress what we were served, it looked like 3 wee wedges of any brie from a grocery store.

After walking the trails, grab a cocktail at the bar, then take the walk to the falls just before sunset.

Rooms are grand

Hotel is above, and beyond! Guest rooms are so comfortable, and the bed is one of the best I have ever slept in. (Actually, just ordered 2 of their pillows online!) Unfortunately, at present, there is construction at the top of the falls for hydroelectricity, which does nothing for the view from some rooms. I would have waited til 2013, when construction is done, if I had known, especially what you pay for these rooms. But overall, had a great time. Dinner at "The Attic" nice.

The Attic, nice and cozy, with great food, and excellent view of falls, if you can get a window seat.

A Must Try!

From food and wine, to comfort and serenity, Salish Lodge doesn't get much better! Dog and family friendly yet you almost feel as if you're the only guest there! I'd have prefered to be notified of my eligibility for a %30 Military discount before my arrival and departure but I suppose that's what we get for not asking!

If you're Active Duty or Prior Military, make sure you ASK for your discount, they won't tell you.
