Nice place to stay in Seattle

The Watertown Hotel is nicely locate in Seattle's University District, which makes it easy to access all areas in and around the city. Free secured parking is a bonus. Watertown also has free shuttle service to downtown and other nearby areas. The rooms are clean, and the beds very comfortable. If you want luxury and spa services onsite, this isn't for you. But if you're an on-the-go travelers, you can't beat this place.

Perfect for Visiting UDub

I loved the Pineapple experience. This hotel was better than anything I have stayed at in this price range. Rooms had European style duvets, with a stuffed husky that greets you when you enter. They have Keurig coffee makers in the room and a minifrdige. And each afternoon they put cupcakes in the lobby. Plus the staff were super friendly and offered any service you needed.

Great location

This hotel was in a great location for us as I was traveling to Seattle for a trip to the University of Washington. The room was nice, very modern style. The bed was comfortable but the way they presented the bed was extremely weird -they had 2 duvet comforters that were folded on top of the bed side-by-side. it required you to unfold them and lay them out in order to get ready for bed and they were 2 twin size duvets instead of one big one. Pretty weird in my opinion and then there were no sheets -you had a fitted sheet and these 2 comforters, which were quite hot, so I woke up sweating. Also a hot tub would have been nice but there was not one. Pros-Great location, keurig coffee maker in room, microwave and refrigerator. free underground parking is always a bonus. It was a nice hotel overall but I just don't think I would stay there again because of the weird bedding situation

Awesome trip

The hotel provided awesome service and amenities. The room is spacey and clean. It also provides with almost everything you need: microwave, hair drier, coffee maker and a refrigerator. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. They provide water (with nice smell of pineapple) 24h and coffee and tasty cupcake every afternoon. The only thing that is not perfect is that the U-district in Seattle is not the best community, but if you want to be very close to the University of Washington, this hotel would be an ideal choice.

Great location for a dinner out

The hotel was in a great location. The parking situation was nice as it was under the hotel. The room had the nice updated cosmo feel. You could actually walk from the hotel to anyplace in the university district.

The hotel had a good vibe and was kind of cosmo, but the area was loud after hours. If you planned to stay out late if would be fine.

First trip to Seattle

I needed to stay in the University District to attend a wedding. The Watertown Hotel was just wonderful. My room was immaculately clean and so comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Security was excellent: your card key was needed to enter the hotel during late hours and to get onto all the room floors. I was on the street side and got some traffic noise but that was because I was able to open the windows in the room and let in that fresh Seattle air! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Use the light rail and bus system to really save money getting from the airport. The Trip Planner on the King County transit website is fantastic!

Many Complimentary Comforts of Home

Love the free microwave, wifi, refrigerator, Keurig,, microwave popcorn, afternoon mini-cupcakes in the lobby, and parking. The rooms are a decent size. The location is close to University of Washington. My only real complaint about Watertown Hotel is that most of the parking spaces are tiny and it is really hard to park anything but a compact car. It would be nice if they re-striped some of the spaces and reserved them for full siazed cars and SUV's.
