less than expected

The day after we arrived the free breakfast was discontinued. Then, 2 days later, there was no free coffee for residents at the coffee shop. It just seemed that amenities were cut before our eyes. We had to ask for shampoo each day. There were no serious complaints, just less than expected.

Perfect for our annual family Thanksgiving weekend

Walked right in and got our room from very friendly staff. Parking was safe and secure. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Very convenient for us as our family was minutes away. Filled up on great continental breakfast items that fit our diet perfectly. Definitely going back again.

Just right!

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it satisfies without fail. It's easy to get to by car and has free secured parking. The location is a short walk to UW, restaurants and nightclubs as well as gorgeous paths around Lake Union. The complimentary breakfast hits the spot with a variety of choices to please anyone. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed with a microwave, refrigerator, and safe. Nice! We'll be back.

Convenient location, helpful staff

My husband and I were visiting our daughter who is a grad student at UW. It's an easy walk to the campus from the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful but didn't hover unnecessarily. They had good advice about places to eat nearby and even had spare umbrellas to loan for unexpected rainy downpours. The complimentary continental breakfast and never-ending coffee/tea service was just the right amount of food and drink for us. The rooms were clean and well-appointed.

Nice place to stay

I attended a professional meeting at UW. The location of the hotel is convenient. The free shuttle bus can take you to Seattle center. The hotel doesn't have a restraurant but many restaurants are in surrounding area. Overall, it's a good place to stay.

seattle hotel

We went for our son's graduation from UW. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the room was mediocre for the price we paid. bedding was old and sheets wouldnt stay tucked in. tv was old; no movies to rent. there was a cart in our room for we don't know what. view was of a parking lot and old junky house. Breakfast was inconsistent; sometimes hot food. sometimes not

Home away from home

I was in Seattle for a 4-day conference at the Convention center. The location was not downtown, but 15 minutes away during rush hour maybe half the time without the traffic. The room was spacious with a very good view of the city. There was free parking with adequate security; you could not access the car garage or floors without a key. Breakfast was Sumptuous and there were very nice restaurants within a walking distance from the hotel. Housekeeping was excellent, my room was cleaned everyday and towels were changed as needed. Should I visit Seattle again, I will definitely stay there.

There is an Ivar's seafood resturant about ten minutes walk from the hotel. Do try the salmon chowder!
