Super location

The hotels location was great. It was on a great street so you could get downtown in minutes and it was walking distance to the university. The free parking was really nice. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Traffic on 5 heading south could be a nightmare, but if you stayed on Roosevelt you were downtown in 15 minutes or less.

Perfect Place to Stay

Watertown Hotel is perfect distance from downtown Seattle and the tourist spots that are within reach if you have a rent-a-car (recommended). Parking was free and in a gated lot with access via your key card. The rooms are very large and spacious. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Columbia Tower, located in downtown Seattle has a great view of the city! Also, when going to Pike's Market, Beecher's Macaroni Cheese and Molly Moon's Ice Cream is a must!

Weekend at the Watertown

We had business in the U District for the weekend and had the opportunity to stay at the Watertown. It was GREAT! The room was very nice---light and private. The bed was separated from the bathroom and sinks by the closet which was accessible from the bathroom side, and gave a nice sense of privacy. Bed was comfy and best of all they had two sets of pillows---one soft and one firmer which is just like home for us. Having free parking available in a garage was a bonus. We will stay at the Watertown every time we are in the area!

Beautiful, clean, convenient. Confusing where to check in.

A beautiful hotel with a lovely use of space. I'd stay there again. Great contemporary look. Mini-cupcakes in the lobby. No pull off in front of the hotel so we didn't know how to check in and in terms of parking, there's a lot underground but we couldn't get in without a card . . . or so we thought . . . so we ended up parking 1/2 block away. They told us that we could have pulled into the lot and just used the speaker to request entrance . . . so now you know.

less than expected

The day after we arrived the free breakfast was discontinued. Then, 2 days later, there was no free coffee for residents at the coffee shop. It just seemed that amenities were cut before our eyes. We had to ask for shampoo each day. There were no serious complaints, just less than expected.

Perfect for our annual family Thanksgiving weekend

Walked right in and got our room from very friendly staff. Parking was safe and secure. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Very convenient for us as our family was minutes away. Filled up on great continental breakfast items that fit our diet perfectly. Definitely going back again.

Just right!

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it satisfies without fail. It's easy to get to by car and has free secured parking. The location is a short walk to UW, restaurants and nightclubs as well as gorgeous paths around Lake Union. The complimentary breakfast hits the spot with a variety of choices to please anyone. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed with a microwave, refrigerator, and safe. Nice! We'll be back.
