Dining
- Margaux
- Fun, comfortable, classy and informal in the perfect neighborhood place way, Margaux has both whimsical touches in the hand-painted soft sweeps of the ceiling murals, hand-blown, bell-shaped ruby glass light fixtures and bejeweled amber ceiling fixtures that blend perfectly with dark wood accents, warm deep reds and relaxing golden tones, crisp linen napkins and plush, oversized seats and booths. The music is soft, the feeling warm and the service exceptional. The overtones are casual French; the flavors are Northwest and the food delicious. The style of cooking emphasizes coastal cuisines of the Mediterranean and centers on seafood, locally farmed produce, and soul-satisfying meat and poultry preparations. Open for breakfast Monday through Friday 6:30 AM - 11 AM, Lunch 11 AM - 2 PM, and Dinner 5 PM - 10 PM, Saturday and Sunday 6:30 AM - 1 PM, for Brunch and 5 PM - 10 PM for Dinner. Bar is open from 11 AM - 12 AM Monday through Sunday.

A very good experience overall.
Really wonderful old hotel; a bit frayed (due to age), but quite charming. The very best feature about it is the location. [...] the staff we encountered was warm, welcoming and accomodating. Sunday morning breakfast was absolutely not worth the price ($35 for coffee, bacon and eggs for 2?? what??); the grease used for bacon and eggs was old and tasted awful! Parking is $27 per night... The additional $54 really puts a damper on spirits for a weekend trip (and makes my good room rate feel not-so-good). All in all, this hotel scores a very good in my book -- I would stay again provided the rate is right. Would not have breakfast again.

Short walk from hotel
Definitely recommend looking around the hotel for dining alternatives. There are many. Also, Pike Place Market is about a 10 minute casual walk.

Great location. Within walking distance of Downtown, Pike Place, shopping, and great dining options. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms aren't that modern but still very clean. Great value for this hotel's location!

GOOD LOCATION
HOTEL WAS NICE AND CONVENIENT IF I HAD TO GO ANYWHERE ON FOOT, BUT IF I HAD A CAR IT WOULD BE A NIGHTMARE BECAUSE OF THE PARKING FEE OF 27.00 OVERNIGHT.

location location
Hotel 1 block from Jazz Alley to hear Herb Albert. The room had a view of the Space Needle. This hotel is very nice, inexpensive, and with great happy hour lounge connected. First time I had problems there with the sluggish toilet. The new lite rail system from the airport stops close to the hotel $2.50. Restaurants all around but we liked Ohana's for seafood and much more only 4 blocks away.

I spend several days in the hotel. I did not have any problems while I was staying there. The restaurant downstairs was a bit on expensive side but other then that it was ok.

Great hotel in convenient location
I stayed at the Warwick Hotel to attend a conference at the Seattle Convention Center. Although the walk was about 7 blocks away from the Center, I found the hotel a great place to stay. It was less expensive than closer in hotels and the walk gave me a great opportunity to explore downtown. The hotel has friendly staff and I found the business center a great convience to check my email messages. Pike Place Market was within easy walking distance. I would recommend the Warwick to any one wanting to be in downtown Seattle.

Friendly comfortable superb location
The staff at the Warwick made our 50th Anniversary very special - this was one of the most pleasurable short holidays we have ever experienced due to the location of the hotel, the comfort of the room, the friendliness of the staff. Really the hotel had all the comforts we needed, view, big screen TV, great beds, marble bathroom, cleanliness.

Decided to stay at this hotel after reading the other reviews. The hotel was just as expected. Friendly, clean, and comfortable. One thing to note: The hotel parking is $27 for 24-hours with in and out privileges. If lucky, you may be able to find street parking.
