Dining
- Margaux
- Fun, comfortable, classy and informal in the perfect neighborhood place way, Margaux has both whimsical touches in the hand-painted soft sweeps of the ceiling murals, hand-blown, bell-shaped ruby glass light fixtures and bejeweled amber ceiling fixtures that blend perfectly with dark wood accents, warm deep reds and relaxing golden tones, crisp linen napkins and plush, oversized seats and booths. The music is soft, the feeling warm and the service exceptional. The overtones are casual French; the flavors are Northwest and the food delicious. The style of cooking emphasizes coastal cuisines of the Mediterranean and centers on seafood, locally farmed produce, and soul-satisfying meat and poultry preparations. Open for breakfast Monday through Friday 6:30 AM - 11 AM, Lunch 11 AM - 2 PM, and Dinner 5 PM - 10 PM, Saturday and Sunday 6:30 AM - 1 PM, for Brunch and 5 PM - 10 PM for Dinner. Nice Week End Getaway
This was our first visit to Seattle and the Warwick was a real nice fit. The staff was very friendly and super helpful with any questions the might come up. The work out center could be expanded. But aside from that my wife and I were very pleased. It is centrally located so walking to Pike's Mkt, shopping, restaurants, etc was a breeze.

Short walk from hotel
Seattle is not a cheap place to dine out. Great food but can be a tad expensive. Across the street is a great market called Ralph's. You might want to get some lunch and night time snacks to keep in your room.

family friendly with rooms next to each other
Coming from our Norwegian Reunion we were looking forward to morning coffee. The coffee makers in both rooms leaked and we only got 1/2 pot of coffee at each attempt! Also, we were charged twice for parking although we had only one car in the lot overnight. They graciously removed this charge. Staff was most helpful

Great location to the church in Freemont district and a easy return from the yacht club. Also easy access to the freeway and airport the next morning. We also enjoyed a walk downtown upon arrival, lunch and some shopping.

Great value and location
Just stayed one night but enjoyed the stay. Easy walking distance to most tourist activities. Nice staff and room. Only complaint was fairly small double beds that weren't as comfortable as I'm used to. Had a great view of the space needle.

Great location; questionable service
The location is terrific - Seattle is a very walkable city and this is nicely positioned for access to everything. That said, the service component is sorely lacking. Front desk staff were pretty incompetent and the bellmen were really out of synch (they promised to store our bags and then promptly lost them!). The only meal we had was breakfast and on Day 1 all went smoothly (delicious breakfast) and then on Day 2 we were informed that the cook had overslept and it would be 1/2 an hour to 45 minutes before any hot food could be produced. Not a good thing when you need to catch a plane. All in all - the hotel needs to tighten up their act.

close to all activities and shopping
We arrived early and the hotel kept our luggage until we came back for check in. The staff was very helpful in directing us to a restaurant, and giving us a map to other areas. When we did come back to check in and were taken to our room, it was very apparent that the room had been smoked in (although marked w/a no smoking sign). I called the desk and we were moved from the smokey 8th floor room to a room on the 18th floor. (higher is better for the view in Seattle) The hotel staff was very gracious about the move. The hotel is just a bit 'tired', it could use some sprucing up. Proximity to attractions was good.

Poor Front Desk Staff
The front desk staff was unfriendly, and not adequately service oriented. The Concierge staff on the other hand were quite knowledgeable and helpful, an odd contrast. The rooms were nice and the views of the city are nice as well. The location of the hotel is good, as it is fairly centrally located to many attractions and also close to important buss connections. If the front desk staff could step up their game this would have been a great experience

A short walk to everything
I was very pleased with the location of The Warwick. It was an easy walk to great shopping, from Pikes Place Market to Macy's and fabulous restaurants. Don't let them put you in room 201! It is located directly above the front desk, right across from the elevators and near the restrooms. Each room has a balcony and room 201 overlooked a very busy intersection. The hotel staff moved me up several floors. It helped with the noise but there was also a bus stop just below. Apart from the noise, the views were pretty.

Former Mattress Salesman Loved the Bed!
I stayed at the Warwick Hotel for four days. The bed was luxurious and comfortable, and the room was regal in floral spread and fine art. The helpful staff was always ready to answer my questions about Seatlle attractions, providing me with a free map. While I had a smoker room, it was well-ventilated and looked no worse for the wear. The deli across the street made a wonderful grilled Rueben, and I brought food and drink up to my room without catching any attitude from the hotel personnel (as you sometimes do). The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food is quite good! The location was good also -- a four block walk down to the Waterfront, or just as many blocks to the heart of Seattle shopping.I would recommend the Warwick to you.

Nice place to visit
First trip to Seattle and the Warwick was a nice compromise for location, price, and amenities. Very well kept and clean, with a very friendly and service-oriented staff. The dinner in the hotel restaurant was Very good and in a nice part of town. Convenient to the Pike Market and shopping and being a stop on the Grey Line made getting to & from the airport very easy and made getting on city tours easy too!
