The hotel is next to a link station centrally located. the rooms were clean and big, the staff very friendly and helpful. The cafe downstairs is good and reasonable priced. Overall, was very happy to stay three nights there.

Big Disappointment
Despite witty signage and bold decor, the W Hotel Seattle is cutting corners and it shows. The Great Room furnishings are starting to look worn, and the decor is visually incoherent. The limited restaurant menu needs a few blander choices for travelers whose stomachs are unsettled. With no in-room coffee, you have to dress and go down to the lobby for a complimentary cup--so you can't enjoy coffee while fixing your hair for the day. The restaurant staff were the rudest I've enountered in 35 years of business travel. And the building is a nightmare for wheelchair users. It was clean though.

Nice Business Hotel
For a business-related meeting in Seattle, this hotel worked well for me. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very accomodating in room service delivery and making recommendations and reservations for a delicious restaurant nearby - Acqua.

Business Trip
Thomas and his staff was awesome. Very accomodating. Made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable while we waited for our room; eventhough we arrived early. Couldn't ask for anything more. His exceptional service transcended the day of check in. Ate dinner at the hotel a few nights before. Was in a jam and needed help printing Seahawks tickets. Thomas helped us out!

Personal attention
The staff was outstanding! I was only there for one night and they always recognized me, asked specific questions related to why i was in own. Aways opened the door for me and were there for me whatever i needed. Will stay there again based on that alone.

Edgy and Dark
This is a first class hotel which is quite near the Columbia Center. Easy walking. The staff was very helpful and valet parking attendants were quick and gave good directions. My only complaint is that, in an effort to be very cool and edgy, the lighting is very subdued...too dark to read a newspaper in the lobby!

hip, upscale hotel
Had a great experuence, staff were friendly, efficient, helpful, the hotel is nice, rooms clean, etc. the only (minor) glitch was lack of attention to detail in housekeeping (didn't replace bath products at all w/o having to be asked - cost cutting?). Otherwise, a first rate experience.

Good Business Amenities
The rooms were nice, great beds. The hotel was close to Downtown rest., shopping, and the waterfront. Also, relatively close to the interstate. The only drawback was that the nightime noise was relatively loud with bus traffic and people out on the street partying late Friday & Sat. night.
