nice
Great location , but a bit noisy ( you can hear the 8 lines of freeways ) Very comfortable bed , nice room ( as long as you get the bigger king size room with the sofa & chair ). Wine tasting 5-6 very nice. We would prefer coffe & tea maker in the room . Since it was a " lazy " weekend we never made it to the lobby for coffe, the service ends at 10.. We are very familiar with Kimpton's hotels and they are always a nice place to stay.

Disappointed this time but happy before
I was quite disappointed with the service provided this time, however have had great service before. As a Kimpton in touch member I was put in a nasty TINY room with a parking lot view and the room was heavily smelling like someone heavily smoked in there. Service in general was not great this time but I learned that they are entirely book ...maybe too much stress.

A Good Place to Live in Downtown
It's close to shops and stores. There are a lot of good restaurant nearby. And guests were invited to free wine tasting. The fireplace made us feel cosy.

Great Location, But That's It
While this hotel isn't a bad place, it misses the mark on little small things that add up to make the stay just so-so. If you can get a good price on it then this place is a good downtown tourist option. Pros: Location, location, location. Nice hotel bar. Cons: Very expensive valet parking. Walls and doors are thin, so it can get a bit noisy.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Pike's Place is a ten minute walk away, as is the monorail stop to go to Seattle Center/Space needle. The ferry terminal is also a short walk. For a splurge dinner, take the $7 cab ride to Lark, up on east Capitol Hill.

Really good hotel, great value, nice staff.
This is a good, solid hotel. The staff is all super friendly and the room I had (802) was enormous. I would gladly stay here again; this hotel is a great value. If I had any quibbles they were that the bathroom is tiny, and the fixtures in it are not as nice as the rest of the hotel. Also, the exercise room has just the bare minimum of stuff, but still enough to do some basic cardio if the weather outside is uncooperative.
