Great location
This hotel is walking distance from the University of Washington, and hence this was my main reason to stay at this hotel. Hotel staff is friendliest I have ever experienced, period! You can tell hotel does not belong to a chain, the try very hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Very helpful with directions and everything else. Room was clean, bright, quiet and smelled fresh. Will definitely stay there again next time I have to see U.o.W.

Without exception, the friendliest and most helpful staff, best price and endless hot, fresh coffee, tea, cocoa, etc. Convenient laundry, parking and shuttle. Can't say enough about entire experience. Would definitely stay again. For almost 3 weeks, the location is perfect for the U WA tower and campus or medical district. And Trader Joe's not far, farmer's market, etc. Great mattress.

Red Scare
Very nice hotel - perfect location
The hotel is clean, has kind staff, and is in perfect location with regard to the University and University Way street. Plus they have great Keurig coffee and free breakfast.

Friendly staff, good breakfast offered, Keurig cups, and a free shuttle. Overall, I can't say anything bad this place. If you're staying near UW, check this place out.

Hangin with the Students
Close to Campus
I am a faculty member from a southern California college who accompanied two students to Seattle for an academic conference. I wasn't looking for frills, but rather an interesting neighborhood, with a safe, clean hotel. The University Inn provided that. There aren't many frills and the rooms are small. However, the room was clean, and you don't want to be in your room anyway. The Wi Fi worked fine, the breakfast looked well attended, the Inn had ample parking and is situated within close walking distance to the University of Washington and all the cafes, book stores, etc. in the neighborhood. There was also a near-by bike lane that made for a good running trail by Lake Washington.

Great location near UW
The staff was very friendly and helpful about nearby places to eat and do things. There is free parking, a big plus in a city. The rooms are very basic, but clean and safe. Free WIFI was a major plus, so was the Keurig coffee in the room. I needed to be near UWMC for an early morning meeting, so the location was fantastic.
