Great Hotel - Very Comfortable

We stayed for 13 nights at University Inn, so we had quite a long stay. The staff was helpful and polite, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Things were well maintained and we did not have any problems. My only complaint is that there is not a fitness center on site. There is a sister hotel about a block away where we could have gone to use their facility, but I often exercise late at night and didn't want to go walking at night to another hotel.

Wonderful location for Prospective Students

The staff was wonderful and helpful. The room was nice and clean (loved have a Keurig coffee maker for my morning coffee). It was located in a great part of town, near campus but also near dining and shopping. The pineapple cupcakes that are exclusive to the hotel were a wonderful treat. I would stay here again!

Great location, clean and comfortable

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, safe, and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed the free breakfast each morning with simple self serve items. (Bagels, english muffins, cereal, fruit and yogurt)and they offer free cupcakes in the afternoon. The area was great, right in the heart of the university district. Close to tons of restaurants, and freeway access. My only complaint was that it was noisier than I had wished. Being in the busy university, there were alot of people and traffic outside that made alot of noise. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Do not stay here

This is the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, and I am not kidding. The pictures of this hotel does not do it justice, it is a lot smaller up close. The picture is misleading, there is not a microfridge in the room and you get a view of the parking lot from your balcony. I will be honest and say the hotel room is clean, but no frills. This hotel room is really bare bones. The breakfast was nothing special, typical waffles and boiled eggs. I payed over $140 with tax for this. This hotel is not even that close to the city. Stay further out at a nicer hotel or stay closer to the city and pay a little more. It is worth it, trust me.

There is a restaurant named "Chaco Canyon Organic Cafe" that is close by, this place is great if you like organic, vegetarian or healthy food.

Have stayed with University Inn numerous

Staff are always very helpful. The room that we had time time was somewhat worn and smelled of chemicals. Towels were old and frayed. Would not have been a complaint, but the price was $179.00 per night so would have expected better.

Close to Campus

I am a faculty member from a southern California college who accompanied two students to Seattle for an academic conference. I wasn't looking for frills, but rather an interesting neighborhood, with a safe, clean hotel. The University Inn provided that. There aren't many frills and the rooms are small. However, the room was clean, and you don't want to be in your room anyway. The Wi Fi worked fine, the breakfast looked well attended, the Inn had ample parking and is situated within close walking distance to the University of Washington and all the cafes, book stores, etc. in the neighborhood. There was also a near-by bike lane that made for a good running trail by Lake Washington.

Great location

This hotel is walking distance from the University of Washington, and hence this was my main reason to stay at this hotel. Hotel staff is friendliest I have ever experienced, period! You can tell hotel does not belong to a chain, the try very hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Very helpful with directions and everything else. Room was clean, bright, quiet and smelled fresh. Will definitely stay there again next time I have to see U.o.W.
