Metropolitan Grill is incredible and only a few blocks from the hotel. After Dinner walk up the street to the Columbia tower and take in one of the most spectacular views in the country from the 77 floor. Fabulous!

    awesome!

This was the last hotel we stayed at on our two week vacation and it lived up to the expectation! First we were allowed an early check in and a late check out. The bed was like a cloud. We hope to stay there again soon. Helpful and friendly staff. Thank you!

    Perfect location in Seattle!

RIGHT in the middle of it all, downtown Seattle. Near everything, a few blocks away from the Market. I expected to spend 2/3 times as much as we did here. Beautiful hotel, across from public transportation, down the street from upscale mall, yet still felt like a neighborhood.

    Wonderful View and Perfect area

The hotel is beautiful and elegant. Customer service was amazing. The lady gave me more details on the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG). Got a free upgrade for signing up for their SPG. The rooms were very lavish. Amazing view and within walking distance of Pike Place.

    Great Hotel and Centrally Located

This hotel is beautiful! I was on the 41st floor directly across from the Space Needle and a gorgeous view of the water. Beautiful room with great amenities. It was only a couple of blocks to major dept store shopping (Nordstroms, Macy's etc) and about 6 blocks to Pikes Market. A nice 1 mile walk to the Space Needle (That's a must see. Have lunch at the restaurant. You'll get a beautiful clear view of all Seattle from the restaurant as it turns constantly. View from the observation deck is obstructed with wires) These are a couple of places I ate that I would definately recommend you visit: Salumi's (Pioneer Square. The BEST salami's and lunch meat you will ever have) Beechers Cheese Shop (Pikes Market. Delicious cheese they make right there and a grilled cheese sandwich like no other!) Cutters (Pikes Market. You have to get the Halibut Cheeks and Salmon/Crab Chowder. Awesome!) I took my teenage son for a short 3 day trip and he really enjoyed it as much as I did. So much great seafood and such a perfect city for walking around. Its super clean, the locals are very friendly. Great visit!!!

Nice hotel and friendlly, helpful staff

Enjoyed the stay and did a lot of sightseeing. The hotel is in a great location. The only thing that was disappointing was that the rooms are misrepresented on the hotel website -- the hotel is advertised as having floor to ceiling windows, which wasn't the case. Also, it was quite small.

    Great downtown hotel

I stayed at the Westin to attend Seattle Opera's Ring cycle in August. The lobby bar was a busy scene after the performances. It has a perfect location, with Pike Place Market and many restaurants only a short walk away. It was ideal for my daily run, with a map helpfully provided by the concierge. Book a high floor for the fantastic views of city and coastline.

    Great Girl Trip

While paying a premium for location and view, we had to be moved to get what we had paid for. Great hotel, but make sure you get a distance away from the elevators to eliminate some of the noise. Staff is excellent. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. Great location, just a few short blocks to shopping, world famous dining, and public transportation is only a step away.
