    Central downtown location

The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are reasonably large. The hotel floors are surprisingly small, which is convenient for elevator and ice access. There are several very good restaurants within short walking distance, including Lola and Serious Pie. The Pikes Place market is also quite close, if you want to brave the crowds.

    Great as always

Whenever we need to stay overnight in Seattle we choose the Westin because of the overall comfort and experience they offer. Check-in is quick and the staff is always friendly. The rooms are immaculate, have great views, include comfy furniture, and the beds are amazing. We walked to lunch a block or two away at a great restaurant. Room service that night was quick and easy. Like most hotels things like room service and mini-bar are expensive but that is to be expected so it was good to have some decent choices available if we are going to pay for it. It was a bit more expensive then the last time we were in town but it was a summer Saturday with the torchlight parade happening that night so I guess that is understandable. Overall we love the Westin and always try to stay at one wherever we go, especially in Seattle.

Don't pay for the valet parking, there are pay-lots that are much cheaper or if you're there on a Saturday night you can try find free street parking within a few blocks.

Nickel and dime= a lot of extra $$$

The hotel itself was fine, clean, comfortable, etc. Paying $41 per night for parking and $9 for Wifi is ridiculous. I have not paid for Wifi for years, even in a $50 per night dive. Tried to rent a movie, buzz was loader than the volume. Engineer came to the room and said it was because they had not upgraded to digital. In the end when we complained they did comp us one night of parking and Wifi for the stay.

    Heavenly beds

The staff is friendly, unpretentious, comfortable, sincere, caring, informative; the room is PERFECT - comfortable, inviting, clean, great view; elevators are speedy. Our experience - late check-out at noon on weekends - was exceptional, and we're looking forward to staying here again. Convenient to Monorail for Chihuly Gardens and Space Needle, Westlake Center, Pike's Market, Big Wheel. Our visit was about 26 hours and it seemed like three days because of location, ambiance, kindness and smiles everywhere we went. On a scale of 5, we rate The Westin a 10.

    Great downtown location

We stayed at the Westin because it was the only hotel near a light rail station with a pool. We were not disappointed with our choice. The hotel is within walking distance of most Seattle attractions and tons of great restaurants. Pike Place Market is a 5 minute walk, South Lake Union is within a 10 minute walk, and the Space Needle is within a 40 minute walk. The light rail (Link) and a street car are all within one block as well.
