A Great Seattle Hotel

A fine hotel in a convenient downtown location. The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff was helpful and available. The hotel provided free internet access which I'm always pleased with as I prefer not to travel with my laptop, but the greatest gem was the free parking! You can't get any better than that as other hotels were charging close to $20/day. I'd HIGHLY recommend this fine Seattle hotel and return again myself.

Great stay

Great place to stay while in Seattle, plus they were able to accommodate our large vehicle in thier parking lot. While not right in the middle of downtown, its a nice area with Thai food and a great pho place down the block. Its a short walk to the space needle and from there just hop on the monorail for a quick ride downtown. Loved the decore, very modern, bright colors, liked the hardwood floors in the room too. Great value for what they offer, pool, free eco friendly bottles of water and coffee in the room along with a fridge and microwave for the leftovers. In all, we have found our go to place at The Maxwell next time we find ourselves in Seattle.

Beautiful hotel!

My two cousins and I stayed at the Maxwell Hotel for my cousin's 30th birthday. The people were very friendly and kind and the hotel itself is BEAUTIFUL! The decor is beautifully decorated with contemporary pieces and touches. I love all the touches w/ the pineapples! Believe it or not, that was one of the things that drew us in! Gorgeous place, sweet people, and a free shuttle service to the downtown area made it a perfect location for us! It's not in downtown, but it was actually nice being able to go back to a more residential area after long days of the hustle and bustle in the downtown areas. Oh and the complimentary mini-pineapple cupcakes were definitely a nice little plus!:) The only tiny thing I wish there was was a hot tub where the pool was! Nothing major though.

Elliot's for Happy Hour! Awesome, fresh oysters right overlooking the water! Oysters start at 75cents at 3pm and progressively get a bit more expensive by the hour. Oh, and amazing bloody marys!

Great place and people!

I spent over 200 nights a year in hotels during my 37 year sales career. I have never been in a hotel with a staff as friendly and helpful as the people at the Maxwell Hotel. Talk about clean! This place is spotless. I wish we could have stayed longer than three nights. The pineapple muffins are delicious.

Great Holiday Shopping Trip

When we arrived cold from standing outside waiting for a travel connection, there was fresh brewed coffed in the lobby. It was one of the best roasts I had ever tasted. When I requested a special accomodation, staff went out of their way to satisfy my need. Each time we went to the desk for assistance, we were more than satisfied. We had a fantastic 4 night stay! Our next Seattle visit will definitely include staying at the Hotel Maxwell.

Beautiful clean hotel

This was an awesome hotel that is within walking distance to the space needle. It's also within walking distance to some great boutique restaurants which was a plus. The hotel staff was very friendly and they offer a free shuttle service within a 3 mile radius. This was a great savings as parking is expensive in the city. By the way, the hotel parking is free, secured, and covered. The bed was comfortable and the decor was modern. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at due to the little free things they offered such as umbrellas, bikes, wifi, parking, and coffee.

modern and fun

A great hotel choice! very modern, green and fun. We loved the location. It had a free shuttle go various places. I loved the coffee and cupcakes in the afternoon. The rooms were beautiful and modern. Great hotel and great price for everything it offered. I wish I would have had time to try the bike rental. cheap town car taxi to the port of Seattle for our cruise, about 20 dollars. Note there is no shuttle from the airport or to the port.

Great place in Queen Anne

We had a great stay at the Maxwell. It was in a great location just a short walk to the monorail. It was very clean, the staff was friendly, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. We had a king room which was kept spotless by the housekeeping staff. It had hardwood floors instead of carpet which was amazing. And the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in!
