Silver Cloud Inn University

All of the staff were great, Mr Graham took us to the bus stop on Saturday and was very kind. A young gentleman that was a student at the university was really nice,he mention that there was a really nice Italian restaurant and if we would like he would drive us there... very very good restaurant. Would have been nice to take the shuttle into the town as this was the reason we got this hotal as a friend said that you had taken him but I guess you stopped that.

This was our 3rd. time staying here and as always it was an exceptionally pleasant experience. It is located near to the University shopping center. The facilities were neat, staff exceptionally nice. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Located near the University of Washington. Clean rooms, very friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast helped me get my day started. Located within walking distance of restaurants and fast food. Shuttle provided to campus, with friendly informative drivers (I had not been to Seattle before and tended to ask questions).

Loved the indoor pool. Quiet. Easy parking. Close to shopping. Helpful staff. Quick check in and out.

The hotel is situated close (about 1/2 mile) to the University of Washington (UW), so it is very well positioned for any visits or business that one might have there. They run shuttles twice an hour that will drop guests off anywhere at UW or in the hotel's vicinity. I was on a business trip to UW that involved a 2 day stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and there was a pool and exercise room that were open fairly late (11 PM). The rooms were clean and well laid out, with refrigerator, microwave, iron, desk. Free wireless internet was important. Extra AC outlets are easily accessible. There is an Office Depot and an Apple store in the University Village plaza two blocks away that are convenient for office-related supplies and services, and there are a good number of restaurants of different types there and close by. The complimentary hotel breakfast (buffet style, toasts, bagels, pastries, coffee, cereals, sausage links, scrambled eggs) was OK, serviceable if nondescript. The hotel was relatively easy to find by car once one makes the left Y turn onto 25th St, from Montlake Blvd. near the UW campus -- just be aware in advance approximately where this is (we missed it on the first pass) you need to be prepared to make a left immediately after Montlake divides following the big parking lots on the right. The signage for 25th St. seems to be nonexistent.

We stayed in the inn at University Place. The room was comfortable and clean. The couch bed was also very comfortable. The staff were very helpful. The daily breakfast offerings were wonderful and would please any family with its diversity. I would definitely go back on my next visit.

Silver Cloud Inn does a good job but the location isn't where I wanted to be. There is a location on Lake Union that I thought I was reserving based on [...] errant map that made it look like this hotel is located on Lake Union. [...] Other than that, if you want to be close to UW, this is a nice place to stay, great breakfast, good pool, nice staff. The shuttle won't take you to downtown Seattle because it's too far.

Stayed with 2 kids (ages 9 and 10) and seemed family friendly. Indoor pool was a hit with the kids and complimentary breakfast (many choices) was a hit with the adults. The room was clean, quiet and spacious but the beds were harder then what we are used to.

Really nice, clean hotel with great staff. I had lots of question about travel around and they helped. It is not easily accessible to public transportation but they have a shuttle that will get you to a bus. Easy walk to a number of stores and restaurants but not Downtown Seattle. Great Breakfast and nice pool.

Complimentary full breakfast, adequately heated indoor pool and hot tub, exercise room, very friendly staff, exellent location, large flat screen TV, fairly quiet, what more could anyone ask?
