Great Location, fine hotel
The Silver Cloud University is close to U Village Shopping as well as lots of nearby restaurants. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

Quick Business Trip
Overnight stay on business. Great area with close shopping and restaurants. A little noisy at times and the room was really hot even after turning on the AC.

A stay in the "Cloud"
I was welcomed by a courteous and knowledgeable staff. The location was great and the University Shopping Center practically next door is super. The breakfast had a lot of variety and the food was hot and tasted good. Great coffee! Nice restaurants in the area. It is a safe environment and the front desk always has someone on duty. I have stayed at this hotel several times and will go back again!

Great location but needs some improvement
Location is perfect, right by University Village Shopping Mall. Good restaurants across streets. Beds are comfy and rooms are spotlessly clean. Two things to be improved. First, the indoor pool's water quality was not so good. Too much materials on the surface even in the morning. The water smelled bad. Second, vending machines need to be refilled and needs more variety. Breakfast was too simple but good. All in all, great hotel in great location but, considering its price, it has a few things to be improved.

a decent hotel, could be better
We were here 4 nights in a junior suite. the a/c was ok in the front room but worse in the bedroom.We opened the windows alot. the carpet needed to be more thoroughly vacuumed and there was mildew between the tile and tub. the breakfast was a madhouse! things are badly laid out, one toaster that took ages, problems having enough dishes and too much and too large furniture for the space. Same soft scrambled eggs and mushy sausage every day. They should hire a consultant to help them deal with the flow of diners at breakfast and get some smaller chairs to help ease the congestion. also it was really hot in the eating area! The pool was nice, the location is good and the price wasn't bad considering it was SeaFair. the shuttle that goes within 3 miles for free would have been more appealing to us if we knew where 3 miles would get us! No map, no list of where it would be possible to go on a shuttle ride.

Easy Access to University of Washington
Hotel is very close to University of Washington - Hotel shuttle was great! On time and took you anywhere on campus so we did not have to park!!! Within walking distance to University Village which is an outdoor mall w/ hign end shops and resturants. I'll stay again! Staff were very friendly and informative. Hallway carpets could use a good cleaning.

Reliable, clean, good value
This is my 2nd time at this property and probably my 10th or so at any of this company's locations. It's nothing fancy, but it's definitely better than a lot of other mid-priced hotels. Little things like good in-room coffee and Aveda soap and shampoo are nice. Definitely would stay here again if I'm headed to the area.
