Unbeatable location
Washingtonians Oct 12, 2009
I have stayed at the hotel twice in the last couple of months. As a gold member of Starwood, we did not receive any upgrade ... to our room. The employees at the front desk only seemed concerned to do soemthing for you if you were platinum level. We also requested a late check out and received a call asking when we were going to check out of the hotel. Obviously it was not noted by the employee who checked us in. When I called to inquire about this the employee I talked to took care of the situation.

The hotel was first class! Clean and appealing property. Attentive and reliable Bell Hop service which we needed because of ... early arrival and late check out. The location was excellent--right in the center of great shopping, restaurants and theatre. 3 blocks from monorail to Space Needle, 6 quick blocks from Pike's Place Farmer's Market, and free bus service within the downtown area. It was perfect for an energetic older couple and their grown children.

The waterfront is full of excellent dining! Eat anywhere in Pike's Market for the freshest seafood and BEST chowders! We ate at Pike St. Chowder House, an outside stand with several grrreat chowders! Try The Fisherman, Elliott's, Crab Pot for seafood dinner. Umi for sushi in Belltown and Cyclops for a great burger and microbrew both on First St. The New Orleans in Pioneer Square for an evening of great jazz and dancing. You can sit outside to take in the street life. We had the best time in Seattle. Explore! Have fun! You can't go wrong! :)

In the heart of Seattle
Ann and John Jul 25, 2009
We stayed overnight at the Sheraton prior to embarking on an Alaskan Inside Passage Cruise. The trip from SeaTac Airport on ... the Seattle Airport shuttle was convenient, inexpensive and so easy as the Sheraton is one of the downtown stops. The hotel is within walking distance of Pike's Place Market as well as many restaurants, cafes, eateries, bars and dozens of shops as well as major department stores such as Macy's and Nordstrom. We've been to Seattle before but we really loved walking around downtown and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay there. The room was immaculate, quiet and the staff was friendly and courteous. A great way to start a wonderful, relaxing vacation.

We had the 2 double beds. A bit small for 2 adults and one child. But, the beds are very good for those with a bad ... back. The valet service was excellent and they easily corrected an over charge on our bill without having to go to the front desk! Very busy but they move you efficiently I wish they had wireless in the rooms the free wireless in the lobby is not very strong or fast

Went to pick-up our daughter & niece arriving from Atlanta, GA. flying into Seattle. After the long flight and time ... change, they needed some rest. Location of the hotel was most convenient to downtown area for walking. Very comfortable room for 4 of us. Both daughter & niece went swimming, my wife and I went shopping.
Traveler type: Family
This hotel is in the middle of Seattle, so walking is easy to many shopping areas. If not in favor of fighting traffic, this is the right location and Seattle has alot of traffic like most big cities. Buses are available within the downtown area which makes it easier if the time is available.
