Fun Pool!
This is the second time I have stayed at the SeaTac Mariott. The indoor atrium pool is what makes this hotel special. It is nice being able to relax poolside anytime of the year. The downside of the Mariott is the 20 dollar daily parking fee. The parking is why I gave 3 stars for value.

Short drive from hotel
Visit Sharp's Roaster a mile and a half south of the Mariott. Happy Hour is 4 to 5. Sharp's is an excellent value with Happy Hour specials.

The best--will stay again!
This was one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. From the attentive valet, friendly desk staff, and very helpful bellman I felt like royalty at check in. They were fast, pleasant and really nice to a very tired me. The room was clean, bed was super comfortable and room service was fast and very tasty. I actually called my airline to see if I could get a later flight the next day just to relax in the comfortable room. I will definately stay in this hotel again!

Sorry I couldn't stay longer...
I arrived on a flight from Washington, D.C., that was delayed, so didn't check in until nearly 11 p.m. And I had to check out about 11 a.m. the next morning to board a cruise ship. But the limited amount of time I was there was enough for me to wish I could stay there longer. The room was spacious, breakfast in the restaurant was superb, and I appreciated free computer access in the business center (though the a/c was way too high there). I'll definitely keep the Airport Marriott in mind for the next time I'm in Seattle.

Convenient access to downtown Seattle
Although we only stayed one night, we'd be willing to stay there again on a longer trip to Seattle. Access via the Light Rail Link is within walking distance and this gives you access to the most popular spots in Seattle. Airport shuttle runs every 15 minutes. The hotel itself is attractive, close to the airport, but well sound-proofed, and generally a good value for the price (but not a budget accommodation). We did not take advantage of either the swimming pool or the fitness center, but both looked attractive.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Use the Light Rail Link into Seattle. It is cheap, runs frequently and gets you into the city almost as quickly as a car (probably more quickly during rush hour).

Seattle Airport Marriott
This is possibly the nicest places that I have stayed at in the 3-star category. The hotel was very clean, attractively decorated and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable and the bedding was a step above what I expected. The restaurant and cafe were very nice and the bar had a good selection of spirits. The courtyard was pretty and relaxing and the pool and whirlpool were perfect for my family to unwind the night after arrival or the night before departure. Computer use was free of charge. They even had a computer screen in the lobby showing the airline departures and a terminal set up for just printing boarding passes on all airlines flying out of Sea-Tac. I would definitely stay there again and if I knew that all airport Marriotts were up to this standard, I would use them every time.

Southcenter mall is a 5 minute drive and it has it all. Shopping, dining, nightlife, entertainment. Also, 7-eleven is right across the street from the hotel entrance.

Seattle Marriott
Wonderfully comfortable beds...great location (5 min. to southcenter, 10 min. to museum of flight, 15 min. to downtown)...amazing atmosphere...kind of tacky not having the price of parking or wi-fi internet included especially for a hotel that has the classy reputation of Marriott
