Not a single complaint...

We really enjoyed our stay here and feel that it was well worth what we spent. Highly recommended! My wife and I were just spending a 3 day weekend in Seattle to be tourists and just because. The location of the hotel was very convenient for all of the Seattle tourist locations. We didn't take a single taxi with the exception of to/from the airport - we walked everywhere with the exception of one monorail ride over the the Experience Music Project and the Space Needle. Would highly recommend the Underground Tour. The staff was great in terms of recommendating place to go, eat, etc. They even upgraded us to a suite at no add'l charge. The hill down to Puget Sound is steep, so if you are there during the winter months you may have to take a taxi around or you can also head north or south and the hill is a much lower incline. We only made the 6 block trek all the way up it once and our legs were burning. Food was great.

McCormick's Restaurant is about 2-3 blocks away on 4th Avenue and has really good seafood. The Underground Tour in Pioneer Square was our favorite tourist attraction.

Beautiful Hotel!

Beautiful hotel, stylish decor, nice staff, the only downside was the expensive parking that was not covered in the cost of the room.

Great Hotel. And I'm a snob.

We have stayed all over Seattle, and this is our 2nd trip to the Renaissance. It is a beautiful, comfortable hotel, that is spotless. The coffee bar (thanks Jason!) is just the best, which turns in to a comfy bar at night. Kick back on the sofa and have coffee or a drink, internet surf in a comfy setting. Rooms are spotless. Concierge the most helpful ever. Same exact rooms as the Grand Hyatt down the street, only a better and more equipped lobby.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Sazerac just a minute away is a great restaurant. Also the hotel is a hike, up hill to get back from the market. We like it that way though, we always come back fit with no weight gain. And we eat our way through Seattle, trust me!

Outstanding in every way!

Restaurant was very good and cocktail hour offered great appetizers at a great price. Staff is very accomodating and location is perfect. Very close to bus routes that take you anywhere. A $5.00 taxi ride to almost every downtown attraction. Nice lounge with a beautiful view. Exceptionally quiet place for a busy hotel. Modern, clean, very happy with this choice.

Unbeatable location for the price"

It was very nice to stay in the hotel. I like the location because we went to downtown a lot. Breakfast was really tasty, and transportation to the airport is very convenient.

A nice hotel

This was really a very nice hotel with large, clean rooms and large screen TV's in the room. My only complaint would be with the cost of parking, but that seems to be normal for large city hotels these days. The concierge was quite helpful, and the parking valets were quick and personable.

Hipsters in Seattle

It was an inconvenience to have to pay for internet use. The rooms did not have any microwaves. The concierge wasn't very helpful in find inexpensive or interesting places to go around the city.

Great Hotel

Very nice rooms, great beds. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Market, but that helps to work off all of the snacking that we did there. Very easy freeway access.
