Night out on the town
"Girls Night Out" started out with flasks in the room...which was on the top floor and the neighboring building had wierd white bubbles coming out of a round roof top machine and blowing all over...that with the clouds reflecting off the mirror windows in the high rise opposite started the evening off right. On to the Olympic for "Cocktail Week" offering called Baja Blue Martini...fabulous. On to RN74 for overpriced Midnight in Paris...then to SAM for ReMix...Great beds in hotel and we decided this should be a bimonthly event. (We live north about 35 miles)... Front desk and concierge (sp?) were fun and helpful.

good but not promising
It's good and comfortable. has free internet, but it's slow during the busy days. if you order from Orbitz, your reservation is not promised. I ordered my double queen beds deluxe view room for 8/26 at april, but they still says sorry no for my Orbitz order and gave me single queen bed "Citi" view room. My friend end up to sleep on the floor for 2 days...

Perfect Location
Perfect location. Could see the farmers market from our room. Staff gave us an upgrade room to an ocean view on the 20th floor because of the shuttle service mixup(not the hotels fault at all). Walking distance to all Seattle attractions. Very clean.Very nice staff, even the staff who worked in the Elephant and Castle Lounge located downstairs. Very good food, excellent drinks all night long. Will stay again and would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in Seattle.

DO NOT USE theGo Shuttle Express. They made us wait over an hour in the smelly parking garage to get a shuttle. Then they took us to the wrong hotel, across town and refused to take us to the Red Lion on 5thAv. Dumped our bags out and left. Luckly the manager at the Red Lion on Main &112th called us a cab that showed up within 1 minute. 3hrs from the time we landed and $45.00 later we got to our room and the Red Lion on 5thAv made everything right with the world.

Very Nice Hotel EXCEPT...
The Red Lion was a nice place to stay and the staff was very helpful with all our needs. I took my daughter to Seattle for the first time to see Manchester United play the Seattle Sounders so the location was perfect and we walked all over downtown. I would have given 5 stars except for two details that could prove to be deal breakers in the future. We stayed in room 1608 and the AC/Heat did not work correctly so the room was perpetually cold and my daughter woke up freezing in the middle of the night. There were no extra blankets in the room to help either. There was also a small blood stain on the comforter on one of the beds. I reported both of these issues to a very nice girl named [...] at the front desk when checking out as the manager was talking to another guest and we were meeting friends for lunch. She assured me that she would relay the information. I have not been contacted by the hotel staff as of the writing of this review.

should have been better
I was there for a conference, and there was not much to do in the hotel, outside the room for my wife while I was in meetings. The internet signal was very weak, I was unable to do anything of value. There was a baby crying in the room next to us at 3 am every morning, it was very loud. One of the elevators was extremely loud as it traveled up and down, and the noise in the corridors was so loud, as if the door was open. Needless to say, we started leaving the television on by the 3rd night to drowned out the noise. The ice machine was broken for the entire week. the next one was 2 floors up. There was no space in the lobby to sit, it is very small, no pool, and the only other area was an out door lounge, which was great when it didn't rain, but it was part of the dining facility, (had to purchase something to drink/eat)and was closed the first evening that we were there for a private event.

Hotel staff very cordial, always very helpful and willing to assist with any request. Hotel had a nice pub in the lower level and the resturant on the 5th floor had good meals and a nice happy hour. cool hotel in seattle
this place is cool - a little expensive for no pool/hot tub in downtown, but it has great location, as its right in the middle of shopping, an easy walk to pikes place market, and the library is right there. the hotel itself is really nice and well kept. the staff downstairs is really helpful. the 5pm happy hour at the bar is pretty hilarious, as the bartender was totally confused half the time, but in a fun way. the room itself was really nice also
