Not for the repeat visiter

The Quality Inn is situated on Highway 99. This makes it a bit difficult to access from the north and almost impossible from the south. We found the room clean but extremely small and very noisy at night. Between the wallbanger AC and the trash truck at 4:30 am or the noise of the highway it was too much. Since our main purpose was visiting our granddaughter for her first birthday this was definitely not an appropriate place for us to stay as we were not the usual tourist. The hotel is well located for some of the tourist attractions but that's where it stops!

VERY SMALL ROOMS

The rooms are tiny and the parking is horrible. Very outdated and the pool was not in order while we were there. The breakfast is great however. Not a place to bring children our your family.

Sleepless in Seattle

The hotel was disappointing. The room was so small there must have been only 10 inches from the bed to the dresser, there was no bathroom counter, no fridge and no where to put anything. The pillows were only half the size of a normal pillow. The internet took too long to load and then bombarded us with advertisements through the Quality Inn host site. The TV reception was horrible. Our room on the West side basically faced a brick wall. We asked for an upgrade but the only room available was a jacuzzi suite which they offered to us for $35/night more than what we had already paid and then dropped the price to $20/night. We didn't want anything fancy, just somewhere to put toiletries in the bathroom so we chose not to take the upgrade. But it got worse. The walls/doors were so thin we could hear everything going on in the hotel. Water was dripping down onto our A/C unit from 3 stories up and making the loudest noise. Maybe that's why some hotels have covers on the A/C unit? We had to take the screen off the window and place a towel over it at 3 a.m. Someone started construction with a jack hammer about 8 a.m. and it vibrated the whole room. The hotel is clean and in a location with a lot of activity but it is definitely not worth staying there. We will not be choosing a Quality Inn again.

If you don't mind road noise

We were expecting double beds, but got 2 queen beds which was nice. Beds were comfortable. Free continental breakfast had a lot of choices for healthy (different kinds of oatmeal and yogurt, fruit) and not-so healthy (bagels and freshly made waffles) eaters. Overall it was fine if not count very noisy expressway nearby, dirty windows and strange stain and palm prints on the ceiling.

Smokey room

The hotel itself was very nice, the staff was very helpful, the continental breakfast and area was great, the pool and exercise are were also very nice. On the other hand our room was tiny, and so smokey we could hardly stand it - we slept with windows closed because of the traffic noise but had the fan run continually to try and make the air better in the room. It was close to lots of sights and easy to find but we would not stay there again.

Tiny Rooms with Limited Access

The rooms were extremely tiny not to mention the bathroom. It was physically impossible for two people to be in the bathroom at once and you couldn't hardly use the toilet without touching the sink. When we first got into the room, it was freezing cold and after leaving for dinner with the wall heater on, we came back to a lukewarm room. That's when we noticed the space heater next to the dresser. Apparently, you are expected to endanger your safety for comfort. The Jacuzzi was out of order, and they turn all but the main elevators off between the hours of 6 pm and 6 am so you have to walk the full distance of the parking lot and hotel if you want access. The doorways to the stairs are also locked and apparently for serious emergencies only as they are being regularly used for storage. The noise of the construction next door was also amazingly annoying and the traffic was audible at all hours. Overall, the FULL breakfast (make it yourself waffles, cold cereal, coffee, juice, toast and one style of egg) was the best feature and that's not saying much. I would never recommend this hotel or stay there again.
