The boutique hotel, which has 146 rooms, is walking distance from Pike Place Market, Space Needle and the Seattle Art Museum, and only a block from the Washington Convention and Trade Center. Shoppers can stroll to either Westlake Center or Pacific Place malls. All rooms are smoke-free, and all include amenities such as separate work areas and flat-screen TVs with Nintendo. Guests also enjoy Seattle Pan-Asian cuisine at the in-house restaurant.Highlights

- Walking distance to shopping and tourist attractions

Rooms
Rich, soothing tones of red and brown decorate guest rooms and suites, all of which are smoke-free. All rooms include 37-inch flat-screen televisions with Nintendo, coffee-makers, robes, a separate work area, and a clock radio with MP3 capabilities. Bathrooms feature private-label toiletries. Grand suites, on the top floor, offer fireplaces, soaking tubs, a separate conference room, and, upon request, a connecting room with two queen beds.
Features
The Paramount Hotel Seattle's lobby features a gas fireplace, a welcome touch for visitors returning from a long day of sightseeing or shopping. The crackling fire is homey on rainy, misty Seattle days. The multilingual staff offers the personal touches of a smaller hotel along with the services of a larger property. Perfect location for walking
Easy walking to Pike Place, restaurants, shopping and monorail. Staff was friendly and helpful. Valet parking entrance is around the corner from front of hotel and we missed it initially. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Central location
The room was very comfortable and nicely furnished. The check-in staff were very friendly. We had a short walk to the main shopping/restaurant area which was also near the bus and light rail. We attended a baseball game and it was very easy to get there and back on public transportation.

Pleasantly Surprised
The hotel was great. I had a conference at another hotel, but the price was lower at the Paramount and the hotel had similar sized rooms. It was a great deal.

I loved it.
I loved the room. The staff always had a smile and was very helpful. The location was excellent, 6 blocks from Pike Place market, 1 block from the convention center. The Dragonfish restaurant was excellent. The best meals I had while I was there. When I come back to Seattle I'm staying at the Paramount.

Above expectations!
Pleasant and cozy lobby. Very pleasant young lady at the front desk who checked me in, got me a nice room, and rapidly had me on my way, all with a smile. Orbitz reservations were instantly located and prepayment was applied. No hassles. Room was wonderful, pleasant colors and well matched decorations. Nice attention to detail without being fussy. Dragonfish restaurant on first floor was Awesome, best restaurant I enjoyed in my 4 days in Seattle. An unexpected treat. Room make-up was neat. Very clean. When I finally (regrettably) had to check out, all was smooth and the gentleman at the bell desk was a delight. Truly could not have been a better experience at any price. When I return to Seattle I will certainly return to the Paramount.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
Ladro coffee, diagonally across, has the best coffee I have experienced. (which is significant). Nordstroms and other fine shopping is a block away, the Monorail to the Seattle center is two-three blocks away. Convention center a block away. REI, and 13 coins restaurant (best eggs benedict you'll ever have) are fairly easy walks. Pike street Mkt also fairly close downhill walk but you might want to taxi back home. Great location.

Nice hotel for business travelers
The hotel is in a perfect location - conveniently located about 3 blocks from the Westlake Station with transit to and from the airport. For business travelers who will spend most of their time downtown, this is a great location. Lots of handy plug-ins and convenient touches for a business traveler... the wireless internet is not free and was pretty slow, but overall, it was a great value for the money.

Nice place to stay
We attended a concert and this hotel was nicely located. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean and hotel wa quiet. Only complaint was the tub did not work for a bath as the plug was broken. Since it was late at night and we did not want to bother, can not fault the hotel for not fixing the problem. The staff was very helpful in giving direction, suggestions for dinner and getting us a cab. Would stay there again

It was a 4 star for me
It was very relaxing. We walked downtown. We ate across the street at Ruth Chris very expensive, but very good and enjoyed. At at the hotel restaruant for breakfast, expensive also, but good. Shuttle bus picked us up around the coroner to take us back to airport. No problems with on line booking.
