The boutique hotel, which has 146 rooms, is walking distance from Pike Place Market, Space Needle and the Seattle Art Museum, and only a block from the Washington Convention and Trade Center. Shoppers can stroll to either Westlake Center or Pacific Place malls. All rooms are smoke-free, and all include amenities such as separate work areas and flat-screen TVs with Nintendo. Guests also enjoy Seattle Pan-Asian cuisine at the in-house restaurant.Highlights

Rooms
Rich, soothing tones of red and brown decorate guest rooms and suites, all of which are smoke-free. All rooms include 37-inch flat-screen televisions with Nintendo, coffee-makers, robes, a separate work area, and a clock radio with MP3 capabilities. Bathrooms feature private-label toiletries. Grand suites, on the top floor, offer fireplaces, soaking tubs, a separate conference room, and, upon request, a connecting room with two queen beds.

Great value
Well-priced, delightful smaller hotel in the heart of the city. Nicely decorated, moderate sized rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Japanese restaurant has reasonable food and a happy hour that's popular with locals.

Right in Downtown Seattle
The Paramount Hotel is very convenient, very clean, and well staffed. We were able to walk to many downtown events and places within just a few minutes. The only complaint we had was the VERY limited room service menu. The restaurant is Asian, and only 4 or 5 entree options available. We ate out, but would have eaten in all nights if the options were more varied. Otherwise, a very nice place to rest.

Business Travelers Beware
The Paramount Hotel is strategically located in downtown Seattle. Many recommended and tourist favored sites/activities are within walking distance. The room was slightly smaller than expected, however, it was comfortable and well-maintained in terms of housekeeping considerations. Staff are well informed and quite helpful. In particular, the front desk staff were candid in notifying customers about the new hotel construction in the back of this facility and that local regulations limited the time that the constuction noise may negatively impact a person during working hours. The lobby consierge was a delightful older gentleman who shared unique stories about most tourist destinations. He provided a sense of history and emotional connection to each of the major tourist sites. This simply cannot be found in the guidebooks that are available in the bookstores. The most detrimental facet of this hotel is the non-existent business center. Literally, an old cloak room on the lobby floor contained two decrepit computers and served as the official business center. Cramped, over-utilized, and exceedingly uncomfortable and with minmal privacy are the best ways to describe this embarassment. The hotel restaurant was exceptional in terms of menu breadth, quality, and price. Many local theater goers frequented the restaurant during nearby performances. Tourists..... enjoy yourselves. Business people .....o only where the bold dare to go.

Great little Hotel
This was a fun girls weekend trip and it really worked out that way. the Paramount was beautiful and for being right down town it was quiet and did not feel crowded. We spent the weekend shopping and going to the 5th Ave Theater-this Hotel worked perfect and we will stay there again!

Paramount Hotel review
We stayed at the Paramount Hotel because of its close location to the Paramount Theater (approximately 1 1/2 blocks). The rooms are very updated and classy. The service was great, and the adjoining restaurant very good. If you don't mind paying more than average, stay for a night!

HOTEL = Great ...... ORBITZ = Horrible
Orbitz did NOT complete the reservations for us. BUT thank goodness the hotel staff was nice and made room for us any way. I will never use Orbitz again, but I have no problem staying at The Paramount Hotel in Seattle.
