Great hotel in downtown Seattle

I got a really cheap price on this hotel, so that may be in part why my review is really positive. It's in a great location in downtown Seattle, within walking distance to a lot of stores, and not too far from some attractions (or transportation to them). Room was really clean and everything. Hotel staff were really nice. There's a good restaurant on the ground floor, which is convenient if you don't feel like going out for a meal. But again, I got this on a deal for something under $100/night which I think is a steal. Probably around $150-200 would be my expectation as an appropriate price for everything.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

If you want shopping like you would find at a more upscale mall, this would be the area you want to stay in.

Location was perfect

Could not have asked for a better location. Perfect walk to the Pike Place Market, blocks away from shopping and the monorail/train. Did not need a car at all to get anywhere we wanted to go. Room was great, staff was very nice. I will use this hotel next time I am in Seattle and will highly recommend to anyone.

sleepless in seattle...

...BUT, not the hotel's fault...that is just me. The Paramount was lovely. I checked in after a long day of travel and the front desk gal, as well as the concierge, couldn't have been more helpful. The bed was delightfully comfortable; the bathroom was well equipped and the room was quite clean. Location of the hotel is fabulous. I took the LInk via airport then quick walk up 3 blocks...EASY and cheap (2.50). I ran early every morning, no matter which way you go, you can drop down to the pier and run Alaskan along the water. You can run the city, but hit the lights wrong, and ugh!

Two musts if you love wine, live music & good food...Purple Wine Bar is fabulous for wine and wonderful staff (had great convos with servers). The Triple Door is fab as well for late live music and food from Wild Ginger (staff is super friendly and fun).

Great Value

This property is surrounded by more expensive 4-star hotel chains, so the location is ideal. The bathroom, mirror and shower set-up is one of the best I have ever seen. The staff is top notch. I highly recommend.

My own vacation alone

Ohh, it was wonderful place. The room was most clean and comfortable!!! They provided ADA kit for me to have an alert system. It made me feel safe and alert anytime but one doorbell knock were not work. I think the door was not right for the alert holder. I informed the front desk. They seem glad to know and told me that I'm first person to have it. I'm so glad that I asked for ADA kit and they have it all what I needed!

Fabulous Hotel

I took Seattle Link Light Rail to Downtown and walked 2 block to the hotel. It was in a perfect location with a great restaurant, Dragonfish, attached. The room was beautiful and super clean. The bath had great lighting and full size shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower. So ne need to bring any. It was just a great place. I have stayed in many different hotels in all prices ranges and this was by far one of the nicest. I was very happy.

Great location. Very clean and convenient

I was happy with the Paramount Hotel. I came into town for a wedding and so stayed here two nights. The staff was helpful, the room was clean, and the attached Dragonfish restaurant is open all the time and has a good happy hour.
